I have successfully done my own gut health candida protocol.
I cut ALL grains (rice, flour, bread, pasta, everything!), refs no yeasted things... and all simple carbs COMPLETELY (tomatoes, fruit, starchy veg, beetroot! Eating mostly raw and lightly cooked foods and CHEW reeeeeaaally good. NO dairy, no fermented olives, mushroom, pickles and the like. Limited meat, lentils.. mainly veg and FAT! yes coconut oil, butter, allowed. I allowed carrots, some pumpkin and some sweet potato.. but limited the latter two - Carrot was an exception for its anti-bug abilities.
Drank organ oil in water and swallowed garlic first up in the morning.
I would make a delicious breakfast of:
1-2 grated carrots, pepitas, sunflower seeds, whatever other nuts I had, two TB coconut oil, fresh grated and powdered ginger, and a dash of lemon. Dear Lord that was the best breakfast. It sustained me for hours, it cleansed me, and the grated carrot and pepitas took care of parasites/bugs. mixed into a breakfast salad type raw grain free muesli
Flush with plenty of water and do basic physical exercise... in my case it was shovelling my cows excrement for a few hours a day.
for lunch I would have a big 'ol raw salad. sometimes adding a boiled egg. I sprouted whatever I could and added it in
Stay like that for 6 weeks.
After this time I was in prime health.
No need to fast to get rid of candida and thrush! you can eat your way healthy with that... I generally eat like this... I did add back fruit very cautiously, and the other starchy guys....
I occasionally add the odd grains, all organic and wholegrain... But I know my limits and to generally balance myself.
Never store bought bread... If I must have bread (once every 3 months), I bake sourdough or just flatbread out of organic spelt. NEVER eat commercial yeast... ew
