Hi Chris and guys, my first fast/post here. 14th water fast day.
BP: 184/118 (mild eye pain, mild headache, mild nausea). Was 121/83 in Jan.
Male, 42 years.
Pulse: 65. Weight: 56,7 kg / 125 pounds
BMI:18.9 (was 21.6 in March and 23.3 in Dec)
Height: 173 cm / 5.67 feet
Temp: 35.5-36.5 Celsius / 95.9 - 97,7 Fahrenheit
Enemas/Hunger/white urine so far? No, not yet.
QUESTION: Will fasting heal BP?
Consuming only tap water (Brita carbon filter jug).
Reasons for starting WF - hoping autolysis to cure the following:
- Three days of vomiting food, then water
- Whole body pins-and-needles in stressful situations and after hot beverage/food. Clothes off to cool down. Last Dec no pheochromocytoma suspicion after metanephrine/normetanephrine test. No liver/bile indications back then.
- No appetite since Jan due to afternoon+evening nausea. No vomiting. Jan-Mar weight drop 5 kg / 11 pounds.
- Lung scarring from autoimmune condition; sarcoidosis (diag. 2015)
- Jaw pain at night when lying on back -> Ibuprofein/paracetamol.
- Teeth prone to cold/hot
- "Old man's" bad breath
- Neck hot in the evenings (this resolved itself)
- Daily pang on left or right chest causing breathing difficulty (seems to have resolved)
Found on Curezone.org:
"Morgulis: It should be known, also, that weak and underweight patients often stand fasting much better than strong and overweight patients."
"Dr Shelton was often amazed at just how long even severely underweight people could undergo a lengthy fast with real benefit.........."
"Long standing digestive complaints usually require a long fast."
Just a couple of thoughts
I have experienced high BP during a water fast that lowers when I resume eating.
I just bought my second water distiller. There was a catalog with it that listed four different water filters. With a list of 29 possible water contamanants. The carbon filter type did not remove 19 of the 29. The Waterwise distiller with a carbon filter removed all of them. Yes this information was from a distiller company, just FYI.
Reading up on sarcoidosis Diet plays a role. Meat and dairy should be avoided.
Hope you get better.
Hi DesertLili,
Unless you want to spend $1450, or more for a 3 gallon distiller they are 1 gal distillers [6 Gal per 24 hrs.
I just bought another 4000 model to go with the 4000 that I have had for years. It started acting weird, so I took the fan assemby apart on the top, took it out to the garage and used the air comporessor to blow a bunch of dust that had collected.
That helped, but since I have had it for many years I figured it was time to get a new one. They said they will recondition it for a $100, so if it gets any worse that is what I'll do. Living alone I get get by with all my water needs. Wouldn't be enough for a family.
I don't think any of them have alluminum. The only one that mentions the cooling condensor is the model 7000. It has stainless steel. Ask if you call, let me know. The 4 water filters I mentioned in that earlier post claims the waterwise eliminates Aluminum.

The 7000 is the way to go with a pre filter to get the solids before they go into the distiller.
Water hook up that can keep the ice maker full, and clean water at the fridge too.
With that pre filter you won't have much to descale. Filter good for a year.
I've been using white vinegar. Just cover the bottom, let it sit for a while and rinse. $2.59 a Gal at Walmart.
