Hi Angelkeeper,
It's hard to say exactly what is causing your issues without knowing what kind of things you're eating on a daily basis...
From what you're telling me it sounds like gut issues because I used to have some similar problems when eating far too much fat...
Fat can actually stamp down the good bacteria in your gut when eaten in large amounts...
The flip side is that you may not be eating enough good gut bacteria growing foods... included fermented foods like sauerkraut, kimchi or kefir...
In addition, eating certain foods with fructo-oligosaccharides (FODMAPS) like those apples you mentioned, raw cabbage,
Sugar alcohols and even sugars themselves promote body damaging bad gut bacteria... which leads to gas, nausea, can worsen or trigger heart issues, among other things...
That's what I went through when I overloaded myself with coconut oil while getting my diabetes under control...
A free guide for foods to eat can be found at
http://diabetesmasteryblueprint.com... You'd have to grab the whole course to get more details on healing your gut though... That's at
http://how-to-treat-diabetes.com/...
If you want to try cutting out FODMAP foods try this list:

Yeah raw cabbage in cole slaw really gave me gut issues and the runs for awhile until I discovered FODMAPs...
I don't know if you're full blown diabetic or not, however diabetics are known to have less good gut bacteria than normal... You really have to work at keeping your gut healthy...
And if you're going to eat fat, get it from natural whole foods like nuts instead...
