Hello World!!
I'm new to this sort of thing but I often find great information on this site. I'm currently 9 days deep into a long term juice fast or rather juice "feast". I've done several
Water Fast in the past as well as a dry fast. I've always broke under pressure. The love of food is strong in this one. Now although
juicing doesn't work the way
Water Fasting does (The way I wish it did), It does get me to the next day. I have kids that I need to keep energetic for. So..Day 9! 4 juices a day 16-20 ounces. My morning juice consist of fruit with some veggies. Lunch has abit more veggies. My last two meals are all veggie. I drink water and herbal teas before, during and after my juice meals. Mint tea is my favorite but I also use others. I don't drink green tea (No Caffine). I do however add a bit of honey and a slice of lemon. I use
Epsom Salt in my bath. I'm starting to workout. I was going to the gym before and I plan on going back, I just would like to lose more weight first. I love swimming but the chlorine is super strong... and it's not exactly something I want to come in contact with. So I plan on stationery biking when I get back. So far I've went from 237
lbs. to 219
lbs. Giving me a total of 18
lbs. lost ( but not forgotten). My goal is to be the lowest healthiest weight possible (115 ish) and my goal is 120 days. Whichever comes first. I will be
juicing through Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve... Because I need to. Because it's time for a change and time for me to take care of myself. I get discouraged by the slowing or stand still of weight loss but I know I have to push it out of my mind and just stay focused. After my juicing, I will ease into eating and prepare to start Insanity workout program. Once I get where I'm going, there's no turning back. I will be doing dance dance revolution (because I can :p) soon. I hope to inspire and to be inspired. Have a great day.
