Oh god! I almost went to the ER to see if they could reverse it, but after hearing how stupid that sounded, and afraid they would think I was on drugs... I just came home and cleaned everything and shampooed the floors and seats in 3 vehicles until about 1am then stood in the shower with hot water for another hour, thinking it would calm me down for bed.
Hands down, that rates in the top 5 worst experiences of my life. Even my personality changed. I rarely get irritable or snap off at people, but omg I was snapping off at everyone and even the next day I was angry for no reason and I was on sensory overload.
The Lugol's will produce this effect like my vision, hearing, sense of smell, balance and concentration will improve, but I don't feel wired or awake and when I take more the next day, it doesn't increase.. it's an even keel and I still feel that way if I skip a day or 2 or if I take 7.25 mg or 120mg. I don't tense up my muscles or shiver when it's chilly either on Lugol's. You would think it would be an opposite reaction since kelp is a natural source.

If you bought it online, can you post a link? If it says Lugol's, then it should be fine. That's made with water. The tincture is made with alcohol and not for oral use.

The dosage sounds weird though...
I use 7% and a drop is supposed to be 7.25mg??
Each .75mg dropper ful contains 48mg Iodine and 96mg iodide.
So, 12% should be more.
