I wrote the above a long time ago, I too have taken a bunch now (47 straight days at a high amount). If you have taken it for a year, everyday? How much per day? etc...

I took 1 rounded tablespoon with some water 30 min before meals or anytime I ate anything for that matter. I feel like this was excessive. My intestines got alot of irritation and inflammation as evidenced by mucous in stool. However, I don't know whether to blame the DE or a dairy allergy, or possibly candida?

I am just very curious is you've had any problems at all, or are you taking breaks from it occasionally ?

I did like the stuff. Since I took all that DE I began to eat about 1/2 the total amount of food that I used to require and that's NO joke. Just afraid of the new mucous developement, which btw has not stopped and it's been about June 1st when I stopped DE and started going after candida.

Tough to tell I guess what's going on. I do have the right stuff, it's permagaurd chemical codex food grade. A fine white powder.

I feel the same way! I won't quit taking it. I can't wait for the day 16 lbs is off!! How long did it take to see the 16 lbs come off?

Anyway, I have to ask is it really the DE that is giving them pain? Is it food-grade? If it's not food grade it can cause some serious problems. I just wonder if there are other factors involved here. I don't discount anyone feeling bad at all, just have to ask myself what other issue could be happening with those who can't take DE.

I do know there is an order to getting the body healthy, first Iodine along with protocol supp. (in my opinion), colon cleanse, parasite cleanse then liver flush. Anything out of that order may cause some trouble. I don't think doing it all at once is smart either, you have to take time to ride each out.

I have been taking DE for 9 days now and the kidney pain, that I didn't know was kidney pain, is gone!!! I wasn't even expecting this, that's not why I took DE, i took it to rid my body of extra toxins and to help the liver out a little and to lose a few lbs.

I love to rebound, but could not do it, I had major pain in my upper back region in the rib area. I couldn't walk for days after that. I couldn't even walk my dogs 5 min (hello, I am 40 yrs young, this should not happen). Still don't know the root of the cause. Coffee? toxins?

Anyway, I have been taking DE and it seems to be working wonders for me.

There is a natural side, but we can't forget the spiritual side to things too.

I believe in the power of your words, words hold the power of life and death. Mark 11:23 / Proverbs 18:21. I speak good things over my body daily. Sound kooky? It's proven, especially with the water Emoto's Water Experiment. Plus telling a kid they are no good or worthless, that is what they will become. Try the opposite with lots of encouragement and you will have a happy, healthy, emotionally stable child. It's proven and it works even over our own bodies.

I also believe in communion. So I do this on a regular basis too. I believe it gets our mind in a healing mode as we do this, it's a powerful medicine.
