Mucous in the stool on DE- biofilm removal

Passing mucousy stool can be a sign of getting rid of biofilms- they're the bacterial colonies which like to cling to the intestinal walls (by growing fungal tubicles called hyphae which mimic mammal protiens). Candida is just one of the bacteria types which can do that.

I would consider the mucousy stools to be a positive sign while using DE! Passing whole strands of biofilm mucous is the goal of many intestinal cleanses, you can look at folk's reports of getting rid of 'rope worms', etc. It isn't just your intestinal tract that makes mucous, but especially the bacteria that live in it.

Was the mucusy stools happening together with any other symptoms? Twitching, pain in the digestive tract, increase/decrease in stool numbers, etc?
