I gave my mom 1/2 tsp of potassium last night and she still had the late morning leg cramps, so I was wrong.
I will try b6 tonight to see if that stops them for her because the salt doesn't them for her like it does for me.
Otherwise, she may still be anemic.

That is a big listing.
However, we still don't know if my mom's anemia is under control and am thinking that it could be iron related.
She drinks milk, buttermilk and eats cheese, so I don't think it is a calcium issue.
I thought it was a potassium issue because of her heat intolerance and use of inhalers that push out potassium, but this doesn't seem to be the case, now.
She hates things salty and avoids it and this makes sense due to her heat intolerance.
The iodine is helping but she needs to do at least 50mg for 3 months and it has only been 2 months off and on.
I will try the magnesium if the b6 doesn't work and then, maybe the iron if those don't work.

Hi Gina,
The potassium wasn't helping, but my mom is a really bad patient and doesn't tell me everything.
All this time I thought it was resolving the leg cramps, but she failed to tell me she was still having them...sigh
Being the observor just doesn't work.
She does take magnesium and borax, but not regular enough to figure it out.
I'm hoping she is no longer anemic because that can cause it too.
Thanks,
