I just wanted to add that it's not that we "aren't listening," it's just that I hadn't really read where people on here were actually NOT peeling the white layers off their lips when they got out of the shower. I read nearly every post on here since I've become a member of this forum and I haven't really read anything about people leaving the skin on. It would seriously help if you guys posted some pictures or something to explain what you're seeing as text is hard to imagine...but I just have to ask out of curiosity, if you aren't picking your lips or taking that layer of dead skin off...then you're essentially doing the same thing as I am except for you're probably getting them wet and putting stuff on them...keep in mind when I was putting products on my lips like aquaphor and chapstick it did take the skin off continually...it wasn't like you know layers at a time, but it was a continual process throughout the entire day...so I mean it was the same thing as peeling the skin off, it's just that the product was doing it.
I guess I haven't really read a complete story from you guys yet, all I read is that "I tried this and it didn't work my lips still peel." I haven't really seen what your lips look like, I haven't seen exactly what is going on. If you did in fact leave your lips alone for 10 months, did you take any progress pictures? And if you didn't put anything on them at all when did the skin come off and did it come off as mine does? You guys kinda have me in the dark here to be honest because I can't see what is going on...I can only read...so maybe I'm not imagining what is actually happening. We all need to start taking weekly photos to document what is happening if we are to really sit down and figure this out. Me doing this for just myself may find the answer for me, but if someone else is expirencing it differently than there could possibly be another approach, but if you don't post pictures of your expirence throughout then it's really really hard to try to find what is causing it. But I do stick by with what I said, if you have some sort of disease on the inside it is extremely doubtful that it will ONLY affect the lips...so if you think there may be something wrong on the inside PLEASE document what is going on so we can ALL take a look and try to help each other out.
I do not sit here and see the world one way with this. I just, from what I read, believed that everyone was still taking the skin off, whether it be by using a product that caused it, the shower in the morning, or their fingers. All I'm asking for are some pictures and a story. And we'll go from there. I want everyone to be cured as well as myself and each week gets better for me so I have no doubts at all that my method is working for me. If my method isn't showing ANY improvements at all for you after each peel then I would like to read your story along with weekly progress pictures...and we'll just have to go from there. We will figure this out...eventually :)
