speaking up
Hey y'all,
Thanks so much for your contributions and enthusiasm! I have been doing the leave it alone treatment for a year now (that is to say, not applying anything topical), and I have to say I have not seen any improvement from a year ago. My diet has fluctuated somewhat, but has basically been like montrealhomegrown's (minus the expensive coconut oil), and I eliminated tested food allergens for the past two months as well.
However, I have removed the dead skin with small scissors during this time, and have not let it build up past it's breaking point due to working in close proximity with children. I have found that if I don't remove it, layers will build upon layers, and it is the least noticeable when I remove the top layer all at once.
I am going to undergo more tests (Gastrointestinal panel, adrenal function, and heavy metal analysis) and then head to Brazil and see if a change in climate and being comfortably unemployed help me at all. Next year I may visit Southeast Asia and China and investigate health options there.
Ihopethishelps, I'm going to add your story to the wiki under Success Stories: Leaving it Alone. I will note the length of time you reported having the condition, as this has bearing on other sufferer's like me who are into their 5th year or more of having the condition. If you'd like to add your full case history for others to easily find, feel free to request to join the wiki once you're on the site.
Peace,
C.S.
