First, I'd like to say a huge THANK YOU to the creators of and contributors to this site. I don't know what would have happened to me if all this valuable first hand info wasn't here. I've never got any help from all the MDs I've seen.
I've been fighting a bad case of sarcoptic mites (scabies) It got really bad because I didn't know what it was for about 6 months (I went to dermatologists who either admitted they didn't know, or gave me topical Antibiotics , or told me I was crazy and that I was creating the lesions myself-I know, unbelievable) Anyway, I figured out that it was scabies more by luck, and finding descriptions in posts here. I wish I could say whose posts I read, but a lot said that if you have one kind of parasite, it's very likely you have other types as well.
So to make a nasty long story short, after a lot of trial and error, I've been treating the scabies with sulphur soap lathered up with a little DE, give a scrub,leave lather on at least 10 minutes, rinse, and after drying, followed up by a complete coating everywhere with coconut oil into which I put citronella oil (10 drops citronella per 100ml coconut oil)(I was using lemongrass oil to begin but thought it was too strong and bothering my eyes)
Scabies does seem to need cutting up (DE) poisoning (sulphur soap) and smothering (coconut oil)all together to make any headway with it. At least the kind I have, which is the bigger species of mites that are visible to the eye and are everywhere, even had them on my face, ears, in hair. Might be called "bird mites" not sure. (Oh yes, I wash the old coconut oil off with a lavender soap before applying the sulphur soap. Real lavender oil soap, not just perfumed.)(And 5 days on sulphur soap, then two days off using a neem soap for the two days instead. Sulphur is drying the heck out of my skin,it needs a rest PLUS neem disrupts the reproductive cycle of the scabies, ATTACK! ATTACK! sterilize those little vermin!!!!!
I've still got some lesions, but so far it's much better. The thing is, my eye (mostly right) started get painful/blurry/ "wobbly", I thought it was down to the lemongrass oil in the coconut oil(which I read somewhere AFTER I started using it, you're not supposed to use lemongrass oil if predisposed to glaucoma) or maybe I was just physically drained from fighting parasites or so I thought.
Anyway, as well as the sore eye, wobbly vision, I was getting a bloody nose, (right side) pain behind my eye,and WRIGGLING...Docs had no clue, then about two weeks after rubbing citronella/coconut oil on me for scabies (AM & PM) I suddenly got four weird "scratches" that appeared overnight under my left forearm.
THANK GOODNESS FOR Curezone, because I remembered I had read somewhere on here that dermal lines like that are a sign of another type of parasite so I came back and looked, and sure enough found, not only was it likely strongyloides, but that they were also probably causing my eye/sinus problem...eureka
BUT I am a little worried, IS IT SAFE TO PUT PLAIN COCONUT OIL(I have an organic one) IN YOUR EYES to treat strongyloides? What will they do? They won't come bursting out my eye like something from an Aliens movie, right???
I'm going to get a parasite cleanse (probably Humaworm) does anyone know if that, and the coconut oil, will be enough to fight the strongyloides? (of course I would only put PLAIN coconut oil in my eyes, the citronella mix I'll continue to use on the scabies. (I chose the citronella because a lot of people use it to repel mosquitoes and I figured it might repel the scabies mites. Although they're not really insects, they're genetically related to spiders, ew yuck)
On top of this, I think I also have some tapes, I can feel something biting and moving. It really is a lot to deal with, but I am so grateful every day for curezone and all you helpful people out there. May you find peace and comfort and an end to your struggle.
Pardon this post for being so long!
PS I traveled in Mexico, Bahamas, South America, Africa & probably picked up the parasites somewhere along the way

This is a reply to # 1,935,493If you have scratches, you have strongyloides. The good news is that it's perfectly safe to put coconut oil in your eyes, a few (2-3) drops once or twice a day, but don't overdo it. There was a member here once who had a blog where she had instructions for treating eye parasites. I bookmarked it, but evidently, she has taken down her blog and is doing it over again, so I can only tell you what I remember.
She used coconut oil alternating with Dr. Christopher's Eyebright Eyewash used as eyedrops, not an eyewash. She put 3 drops of coconut oil in each eye at night, and used the eyewash in the morning to clean it out and several times during the day. She diluted the eyewash by using a 1-liter bottle cap to measure. She started with 1 drop of the eyewash in distilled water, and had worked up to 3 drops. It burns, but it works. In the morning for a few days, you will have this horrible white gritty crud that comes out of your eyes. This is called "frass" and it is made up of strongyloides, their eggs and their poop. Wipe it off your eyes with tissue and throw the tissues in the commode and flush them, or put them into a plastic bag and in the garbage. This may seem crazy, but the eggs are microscopic, and can float around in the air.
If you are taking any steroids...STOP! They suppress your immune system, which causes what you have now..a disseminated hyperinfection.
There is a soaking bath that is on the Morgellon's forum. It's very hot water (as hot as you can stand), cheap liquid clothes-washing detergent with color-fast bleach (I use Sun brand), vinegar and Epsom Salts . I don't remember the amounts, because I haven't done it for awhile. You soak as long as you can. I even soaked my head and face by put them under all but my nose so I could breathe. I did this every night for a month, and it helped tremendously with the itching.
Plus, you should start taking coconut oil daily, if you don't already. Start with 1 tsp. and work up to 3 tablespoons a day. Castor oil rubbed on the sores several times a day helps them heal faster and leave less scarring. I've found that the sores are caused by "nests" of strongyloides, and that they will not heal properly until all the worms are dead. The castor oil helps kill all of them, and you will see the tiny white things sticking up around the edges of the sores as they die and come out.
To get most of them out of your skin (mine are mostly on my legs and arms) you can use Bentonite clay mixed with vinegar. It pulls them right out of your skin. You can actually see them trying to get away from it, making tracks under the clay and popping up through it. If they are in your scalp, put apple cider vinegar in water and rinse your hair with it every day after you shampoo. I even put the Bentonite into my hair (very messy, I don't recommend it) to remove all of the eggs, etc. from my hair. RID lice medicine and shampoo will also kill the ones in your scalp. Just use it as directed.
ICU has protocols for drug treatment for strongyloides which have a list of sulfur based creams and shampoos you can use. They HATE sulfur. MSM and garlic are full of sulfur, so taking those two daily helps a lot. If you want to take drugs, here is the protocol.

Strongyloides is a chronic illness. Work on getting your body healthy, and it will keep them under control. I'm going to post about a new treatment I've found as well, so read that.

This is a reply to # 1,935,518Folks Folks -- Strongyloides is a nematode whose larvae or microfilaria is auto innoculating. The larvae travel throughout the entire body's tissues. The adults live in the upper intestines -- the eggs hatched in the gravid female and she discharges live microfilaria that then migrate throughout the body's tissues. There can be a cutaneous phase known as Larva Curans. You must treat this infection systemically. One dose of Ivermectin is the treatment of choice.
This IS NOT something you can cure topically or with taking coconut oil.
So, don't mess around with this. Sorry you have had so much trouble finding responsive doctors. It can be frustrating. But, just interview more until you find one who will work with you.
The parallel scratches you found may not be from Strongyloides stercoralis. You could have been infested (from a vector) a filaria - in this country would be an enzootic species (from an animal reservoir host). If you experience open sores with 'things' protruding out -- you are dealing with miyiasis (an insect - blow or bottle fly most likely that laid its larvae on you to nest. Contrary to former belief - there are may flies species and other insects that will use living mammalian tissue and we are seeing more and more miyiasis cases in America. You can read more about this on the CDC site.
So - if you think you have Strongeloides (and many people do and are completely asymptomatic) you must get proper systemic treatment for it.
Miyiasis - an depending on which type -- you could try to coax out the larvae from its subQ nest and pull out with a twizzers. The white things sticking out are most likely their breathing tubes called spiricules. Coconut oil with oregano oil drops wont' make them happy and if you are vigilant might be able to get a lock on the larvae to pull out.
As for a filaria infestation -- this country is ill prepared to recognize let alone consider the diagnosis. And, unfortunately, many doctors are programmed to blow of the patient to delusional psychosis rather than try to comprehend sxs and descriptions that are outside of what they are taught to expect.
Many of the cases of enzootic filaria found in people were after years of misdiagnosis and improper treatment. In one case a man was treated with chemo for a testicular tumor - that after 7 years would not resolve. Finally, a biopsy was performed and they found an adult Dirrofilaria repens nematode coiled up causing the so called tumor.
The things you speak of are serious and you must keep on trying to find someone who is knowledgeable and will help guide you.

This is a reply to # 1,935,493You probably had parasites before you left the USA, as they seem to be universal, but it does seem they get worse with trips outside the country, for some folk.
I have no advice about coconut oil and your eyes. All I have to offer is what you may have already seen before, since you say you have been reading here, but that I include below just in case you have not seen it.
You do need to keep up the killing, sometimes for quite some months. It does help to not only use herbal paracides but also a zapper, and if it's in your budget, even a Sota Pulser.
I would check out the morgellons forum to be on the safe side.

Re the topic of enemas sometimes mentioned in the link above, I am adding a personal feeling of caution about colonics - professionally done high colonic enemas. I have seen them really depleting people's energy, though some really like them. They do flush out a lot of good bacteria & probiotics along with the junk.
There is really no data that I know of to show that good bacteria can be replaced by over the counter supplements, or even things like acidophilus yogurt, kefir etc., after such a highly invasive wash of the intestines. (You can tell if your yogurt or kefir has live probiotics by adding a heaping tbsp. to regular milk, then letting it sit for 8 -16 hours. If it’s the real stuff the milk will thicken and give you more yogurt or kefir.) Maybe so, maybe no, but there is new info coming out that low probiotics in the gut can cause things like Depression (see Dr. Mercola & Dr. Marsha Campbell’s Youtube vid for example) and even possibly things like autism if the mother's probiotics are too low and she doesn't pass enough onto her baby in the birth canal or through her milk.
There are other ways to clean out the intestines, for example some like Blessed Herbs, some like Oxypowder . Simply adding more roughage & drinking more water can be effective.
I'm no expert on any of that, just presenting what I worry may be a potential hazard. Mho.

It's a great relief that the coconut oil is safe-it freaked me out at first last night when I tried it because it made a film or haze over my eyes and my vision became a bit blurred; also something behind my eyes, especially the right, did not seem to like the oil because I felt it thrashing around....BUT this morning my right pupil did not look so dilated!!!
Although strongyloides sounds scary and frankly I'm pretty tired after trying to get rid of the bad scabies for so long, it's really fantastic that I finally have an answer to what has been causing many symptoms-not just the eye/nose ones which scared me the most, but the crawly sensation in my feet, random joint pain, trouble breathing, coughing up stuff from my lungs although having no cold or flu, (it seemed like foam but I was suspicious and tried never to swallow any), and why some of the scabies outbreak did not seem to be scabies.
(Although I've had scabies in my nose I was pretty sure they weren't in or behind my eyes, or on the soles of my feet or in my lungs)
What I've read on this site is true then-when you have one parasite, you'll have other types. I just didn't know that they were having a d*mn parasite glee party while using me as a hotel and buffet.
I was getting tiny white things out of my arms and legs but I thought they were scabies larva (scabies life cycle: egg-larva-nymph-adult)as well as the scabies adults; now it makes sense that some are strongyloides larva, especially since some of them did not seem to come from typical scabies "nests" (which in my case have round or oblong shapes created by the female going around laying eggs and exuding some kind of protective coating which hardens on top and creates sort of a tough scab-well they are related to spiders, ew yuck)
Tonight I got a lot of larva out of my shoulders and my right forearm-the coconut oil is working. I also swallowed some coconut oil as you suggested and got quite a gut disturbance...but I think I've got Tapeworm as well. Something is thrashing around in there and it feels quite big. Also bloated abdomen no matter how little I eat and really weird sounds that don't sound like normal digestion noises.(I do mean WEIRD-like "moaning" or even "purring" at the same time it feels like I'm being bitten on the inside.
I said it before, a d*mn parasite glee party.
I really thought I was at the end of my rope with this scabies problem, and now I'm going to need even more rope (metaphorically speaking) to deal with the tapes and strongyloides. I won a skirmish with the scabies but the parasite battle must wage on...
Yesterday was a HUGE day for me...NOW I KNOW...now I can do something..and the HOPE and the KNOWLEDGE I'm getting here I can't thank anyone enough for. I think you may even have helped save my eyesight, it seems the strongyoides can destroy that if they go far enough unchecked. I'm going to thank you in my heart every day!!!!

This is a reply to # 1,935,800I'm glad we could help you. It's a strange disease, and unless you want to take serious drugs, it's a long battle.
I just soaked my feet because I had some of the white hard "disks" coming out, and I think I'm having what I call a "hatchout," which seems to happen about once a month. I can tell because of all of the black "rods" that come out of my skin, which is a pupal form of larvae known as rhabditaform. Sometimes they come out half black and half white, so I know I got them when they were molting to the next stage.
Anyway, I put detergent and peroxide in the water, and the things were coming out for 10 minutes after I got through soaking and scrubbing them. In case you want to try it, I put coconut oil on my feet at night with thin cotton socks. I have always had scaly, cracked heels, but when I do this, they just go away. I never knew it was the parasites until I took my first parasite cleanse (Humaworm) and my heels were fully healed at the end of it. Right now, they are really bad because I haven't been using the coconut oil, so it will take some doing to get them "sandal ready" again.- Re: eye pain, bloody nose, crawling ... bentnail

Have been treating scabies with mixed results... they seem to be getting smaller and smaller. But about a week or so after two doses of ivermectin they started popping out of my nose and elsewhere in my face, a little. Again They have been on my scalp quite some time and were misdiagnosed. It is possible that I recall the novement behind the eye... that was described in a recent post... it is possible (though I know it sounds improbable) that all this started not on my vatrious trips overseas last year but when a bug flew right into my eye a year or so ago-- and I think the dead thing got stuck in my eye for a while-- with some odd rashes afterwards... definitely something started after that but then calmed down and it was not till this Fall that the bumps on my head started to open and itch and then with scratching after a few weeks I had scabies, which I at first thought were bed bugs. I dont have health insurance...
That said, I would be ok with taking the western medical approach ie more ivermectin if that indeed can do the trick. I did just get some sulfur and want to do whatever I can. I am concerned that I would pass this on to people -- are both scabies and strongyloides equally infectious? My family has invited me over for Christmas --what do I do?!Advertisement

This is a reply to # 1,935,800I'm afraid of coconut oil, whenever I use it I seem to get itchy on thighs, and sick all over. I'm currently battling scabies for 6 weeks now. Two application of permethrin an worse than ever. Clove oil seems to have complicated further as well and it really burns. Tried sulphur and black tar creme. I think I the other parasite which I really try to stay in denial of as it freaks me out, I really hate websites that show pictures of that nasty crud, info fine pictures ugh. Currently seeking to find Peru balsam a known scabies killer and Karanga oil a safe incesticide. Just started taking a lot of peppermint oil, Cumin black seed oil and Tumeric. Tumeric works on the brain to prevent dementia which I read scabies can cause. I even hear high pitched insect sounds in my head along with fleeting lights in eyes mostly at night. I sniff thyme to slow it, no cure yet, Fed up.

I even went to the supposed top of the line expert and showed photos of sores, burrows, rashes and brought samples of things coming out of my skin, and received a most surprising lukewarm reaction. When I went to Urgent Care, freaked out over the bruises, sores and itchiness, the doctor asked me if any one has suggested that I see a psychologist. Again, I brought all of the back up evidence to support my visit. I have lost faith in doctors....

Thank you, Bentnail, for sharing your story because I became aware that I also have strongloidiasis when I came across your post!
I have also been struggling to cure mites for 10 mos and wanted to share with you that after trying to cure it as 'scabies' I discovered that the symptoms I have actually match 'bird mites' more accurately. (No wonder permethrin didn't work.) The two are very different beasts!
Bird mites (which I contracted from my in-law's family cat laying on me) are harder to get rid of in the environment because they live longer off the host. There is an organization online that talks all about bird mites as it pertains to human infestation which gives more info. (Sorry, the forum won't allow me to post links being a newbie).
Also, the sulfur product that has worked best for me without drying my skin is De La Cruz which is a sulfur ointment. I'm going to try the sulfur soap too in addition to the Epson salt (I use as a scrub).
Dr. Christopher's herbal eyebright is also something I have used for a long time and it works wonders for me. I use it as an eye flush diluted in distilled water as well as an herbal supplement (just add some drops to your drink). I've found both methods effective in improving eye issues.
I haven't tried coconut oil as a topical but that sounds like a good approach too. Ironically, I accidentally rubbed clove oil in my eye once (burned like crazy) and used coconut oil to neutralize it. The coconut oil didn't hurt my eye and I just flushed with water afterward.
One last update on the strongloidiasis: I ended up taking oral ivermectin and that did the trick. I had a 1/2 inch-wide and 4 inch-long stripe of raised skin on my side, just under my left armpit. After treatment, the stripe first narrowed and looked more worm-like and then it faded away.
Ivermectin also helps to cure bird mites but I'm learning that the trick is to combine it with other treatments like sulfur.
I am incredibly grateful to you and all on curezone for helping me identify and heal the parasites on/in my body. This has been much more informative than any doctor I've seen.
