Hi
Re my previous post, I meant to say that I thought you should see a doctor. Also, I also meant to mention that constipation can definitely cause fever in children, so I assume it could also cause this in adults as well.
Also, a fever and chills can develop if you mix alcohol with certain medications - are you taking any meds, or alternative medications, or any type of vitamins, minerals etc???
See note below from internet info on fevers and chills:…………
“…Fever occurs when the body's immune response is triggered by pyrogens (fever- producing substances). Pyrogens usually come from a source outside the body and, in turn, stimulate the production of additional pyrogens inside the body. Pyrogens tell the hypothalamus to increase the temperature set point. In response, our body begins to shiver; our blood vessels constrict (close); we get under the covers in an attempt to reach the new temperature that is higher than our baseline.
Pyrogens (fever-producing substances) that occur outside the body include the following:
Viruses
Bacteria
Fungi
Drugs
Toxins
Also for info, you can develop fevers and chills from a urinary Tract infection - and that can be dangerous.
Again, I would suggest that you visit your doctor and get urine samples and blood samples taken.
Good luck.
