I absolutely love that kombucha! I want to try the green drink, and just the original. I really could gulp the whole thing down. I've asked that question here on the forum. I think it's questionable since it's made with SUGAR!!! the actuall sugar content of a whole jar is 2. So when I've drank it, I just take sips, never drinking much at a time for that reason.
I've never tried the cocunut kefir, but I really want to since I can't tolerate regualr kifir. It also has a sugar content of 3, (1 cup) with some ingredients saying dextrose, and pectin. forms of sugar, so i'd probably just take sips of that too.
Just as with the kombucha, if the kefir is fermented long enough all the sugar is destroyed.
Yogurt has sugar too... so does broccoli, and even eggs.
We can't avoid it! :-(
Exactly. And there are other sources people often overlook such as meats and what the body generates:

But, it's best to make sure we ingest as little sugar as possible.
Correct, but the point I was making is that the Candida diet is only addressing a symptom not the cause of the Candidiasis.
Plus, the fiber from veggies helps to augment the carbs/sugars.
Yes, but the fiber does not block absorption, it only slows absorption.
However, I still avoid fruits, for fructose has always given me issues.... as does lactose.
Lactose intolerance goes back to a lack of intestinal flora, which also contributes to Candida overgrowth.
the cocunut kefir, has some questionable ingredients like dextrose and pectin. 1 cup = 3 grams, so that's questionable as well. I really want to try it though, I can't tolerate kefir at all!
Pectins are fibers that have various benefits to the body including the binding of heavy metals and immune stimulation. They are not bad.
Yes, MCP is very good at vacuuming metals and toxins. I'll probably take the NOW brand capsules.
Zeolite is also excellent,
Some people prefer to avoid zeolites and clays internally though due to the high aluminum content. Zeolites are aluminum silicates, and clays also contain aluminum silicates. And as with activated charcoal it is important not to take them with supplements as they also absorb vitamins, alkaloids, etc.
as is activated charcoal but be careful with charcoal...if may have the propensity to "stop u up,"). Chlorella and clays are also good.
coffee enemas are great too...but I'm scared to try it. I need really fool-proof directions!
I personally would not do coffee enemas as the caffeine is still hard on the adrenals, which leads to more immune suppression.
Yikes....I didn't know zeolite and clay contain aluminum. I already have high levels of that! What would u recommend as a vacuum/binder for the metals, then?
Pectins from fruits and vegetables, algins from seaweeds, phytates from grains; also sold as inositol hexaphosphate (IP6) and chlorella are all excellent for binding heavy metals. Amla berry helps to protect the DNA from heavy metal damage when detoxing metals.
-No coffee enemas? They are supposed to be great for detoxing the colon and liver.
Caffeine can stimulate the liver, but it also stimulates the adrenals. Overstimulation of the adrenals can lead to whole mess of problems for the body including immune suppression.
What would u recommend, then?
Bitters are a better choice for the liver, or for those who cannot use bitters I would recommend the herb bupleurum. Here is an old post I did on coffee enemas and bitters:

Yes! I was looking into that! modified citrus pectin. You think it's ok for candida? I was researching this a lot and it seems to do a very good job at binding to heavy metals. I may try it once my mouth is cleared from amalagam.
Yes, pectins are not going to feed Candida just like other fibers will not feed Candida. Just remember not to take fibers with enzymes as most enzymes supplements also contain fiber digesting enzymes that produce more sugar.
You do not need any special pectin though. Even the pectin you buy in the store to make jelly will work.
As far as metals go, seaweed algins and chlorella are also great for binding metals. I also like amla berry, which protects the DNA from heavy metal damage during metal detoxing.
