It's humorously and sadly ironic how the advocates of traditional medical Science somehow manage to ignore their own field's studies. Especially the ones that don't agree with them.
It is sad and very scary to see "liver flush" supporters here giving advice on something they clearly know nothing about. Clearly they are unaware that there is more than the common bile duct involved. In fact there are several ducts involved and they are not all the same. Why would these LF supporters ignore such a fact? That's right, because they are clueless to human anatomy and physiology.
And why did they ignore the fact that the two people in that study had their gallbladders removed? Oh, that's right, because they are clueless to human anatomy and physiology!
And where will they be when their bad and dangerous advice lands someone in the hospital with a stone lodged in a duct? I'll bet they will either be long gone or they will find some excuse to blame the victim or deny the "liver flush" had anything to do with it.
2 separate cases where stones in the bile duct (larger than 1 CM) passed spontaneously!

(sorry, but I can't copy from a Google book)
And just think, if "science" (and all the other 'scientifically minded disbelievers) actually BELIEVED, then there'd likely be zillions more 'documented cases' :)
Uny
This is a great example of why people, such as the poster above, who have no idea what they are talking about should be posting on the subject. First of all this poster keeps focusing only on the common bile duct clearly not realizing that there are other ducts involved. This includes the cystic duct, which can cause inflammation of the gallbladder if blocked.
The poster apparently did not read the whole report or more likely did not have a clue what it said as first of all they state in both cases that the stones were lodged in the ducts, which is why they ended up hospitalized in the first place. Again this can happen with "liver flushing" as well IF real gallstones are present. The poster clearly did not realize either that the first patient did not have a gallbladder as it had been removed years earlier. The second patient had their gallbladder removed BEFORE the passage of the stone. In both cases the stones were not recovered so there is no way to tell if they broke up at all or in the second case if the surgery somehow dislodged the stone. There is also the possibility that the lodging of the stone built up back pressure causing the stone to dislodge. But again this is not the only duct involved and people do not always get this lucky. Even though ending up having your gallbladder removed is not lucky per se it is still luckier than the alternatives that can happen if a stone lodges in a duct.
This is why taking advice from the LF supporters is nothing short of foolish!!!
ROTFLMAO!!! This is a great example of how gullible the LF supporters really are! They will believe any made up claim they read on the internet as long as it supports their false beliefs about "liver flushing. Let's review a few of the statements in these posts presented here by other LF mark:
"Then I got some large hard stones, the largest being 2 1/4 inches long, and was egg shaped. The combined volume of the stones was about the size of three fists, the size of my gallbladder."
Not even going in to the fact that a real gallstone 2 1/4 inches long could not physically pass through the ducts, and a real gallstone would not be "egg shaped" the biggest piece of evidence that this whole story is made up is in this person's last statement. The person claims three fists worth of stones, the size of his gallbladder. Either he has the tiniest hands in the world or an alien gallbladder. How big is the gallbladder really? Hmmm, at the max 1 inch by 4 inches, a lot smaller than even one fist:
http://ehealthmd.com/content/what-are-gallstones
"The gallbladder is about 3 to 4 inches long and 1 inch wide. It is connected to the liver,
So here we already have solid proof that the poster is making up the whole story.
But this is nothing compared to second poster's claims, which is the funniest and most ludicrous story I have ever heard!!!:
" I didn't collect or photograph the stones but on a general count was as follows:
1 stone bigger than 2cm
20 stones bigger than 1cm
40 stones pea sized
Loads of gravel sized stones
My gall bladder felt quite tender, my stomach was slightly bloated and my anus was incredible sore but on the whole I felt that the whole operation was a great success. I my heart I felt that the job was not quite done and that I needed another flush. So as I don't have to work at present I schedule this for Monday 6th June 2005, four days after the first flush.
Second Flush
I reduced the Epson Salt dose down to 1 desert spoon per dose to try and control the diarrhoea and I also gave my anus a good coating of Vaseline before I went to bed. Every thing else was the same. This time I slept though until 7.00am but I still had the diarrhoea and a multitude of visits to the toilet from 9.00am onwards. The Vaseline was a good idea as it stopped me getting sore.
The count on this day was as follows:
1 stone bigger than 2 cm
13 stones bigger than 1.5 cm
24 stones bigger than 1 cm
34 stones of pea sized
loads more gravel
When I thought it was all over I felt what I thought was wind travelling and gurgling through my intestines and when I finally needed to answer the call of nature at 8.00pm I discharged a 3.5 cm stone which was well on the way to becoming calcified. The next day I pasted another 12 stones all around 1 cm in size.
Third Flush
I carried out my third flush on 13 June 2005 and encouraged by the success I had so far and my ability to easily drink the potions I decided to give my liver a double hit. After drinking the olive oil and lemon juice and lying flat on my back for 30 minutes I had another dose of the olive oil and lemon juice and lay again for 30 minutes. I did suffer from indigestion in the night and still had the taste of olive oil in my mouth in the morning; however, the results were excellent as follows:
1 stone bigger than 3 cm
1 stone bigger than 2 cm
9 stones bigger than 1 cm
35 stones pea sized
Loads of sludge"
First thing to keep in mind that the gallbladder is only about 4 inches by 1 inch in size. Second thing to keep in mind is that real gallstones are extremely slow to form. This means that if these were all real gallstones then they would all have had to be in the gallbladder originally since they would not have time to form to the sizes stated. And all the "flushes" were completed within a two weak period. Now keeping all this in mind let's consider large the gallbladder would have to be for this story to be true. Not even including the "sludge" and "gravel" he claims out the total size of the "stone" count would be over 125 centimeters or OVER 49 inches!!! In other words there would be no room for a liver, pancreas, intestines, hearts, lungs, etc. To hold that many REAL gallstones his gallbladder would have to be taking up all of his chest and abdominal cavity and then some!
Again I love it when the LF supporters provide the proof to how bogus liver flushing really is. And it is so entertaining to see how gullible they really are to fall for such nonsense stories!!! Come on people use at least a little common sense. You have me laughing so hard I think I am going to rupture my 49 inch gallbladder!
"Now keeping all this in mind let's consider large the gallbladder would have to be for this story to be true. Not even including the "sludge" and "gravel" he claims out the total size of the "stone" count would be over 125 centimeters or OVER 49 inches!!!"
LOLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!! What the hell is wrong with you? It's called VOLUME. Go do a google search and find out what it means.
Hhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahaaaa!!!
What is really a riot here is the fact that you seem to think that these soap stones were flat since that is the only way they could have fit. I know what volume is, but clearly you do not understand the concept so I am going to help you out.
So let's start with the volume of the gallbladder, which is roughly 4X1X1 inches in size. Thus it has a volume of 4 cubic inches. Now we have according to your ridiculous claims 49 inches of flat "stones" apparently. Since we know that they are not flat we will have to calculate based on assumed sizes. Now normally a real stone would have nearly the same length as height and width. But to make you look less foolish let's assume the height and width is only half the length. This would give us a total volume of 29,412.25 cubic inches. So you are trying to claim that 29,412.25 cubic inches of real gallstones can fit in to a gallbladder with a capacity of only 4 cubic inches!!!! As you said: "Hhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahaaaa!!!"
Maybe some day the "liver flush" supporters will finally figure out how ridiculous they really are being!!!
Oh.
My.
God.
I did not think it was possible for any human being to be so dumb. It was hilarious before, but now its just painful.
No, actually it's still hilarious.
HHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAHHAAAHHHAAAAHHAAAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 29,412.25 cubic inches??!!!?!?! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU??!?!!!!
"What is really a riot here is the fact that you seem to think that these soap stones were flat since that is the only way they could have fit."
No, this is not the riot here. Trust me, genius. HAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
"I know what volume is, but clearly you do not understand the concept so I am going to help you out."
Oh, you know what volume is? Please help me out!!!!
Uh, wannabegenius I already did the calculations for you. But then you tried to back peddle when you were called on your changed definition of sphere. We were talking about geometrical spheres, not asteroids. But again your claim was already called on:
http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1857320#i
One can only shake their head and laugh at how dumb you are. However, in case anyone actually takes the time to read this some day, the stone measurements were taken at their longest axis. Calculating the total volume using spheroid or ellipsoid equations would yield a SMALLER volume than 90.8cm^3 as derived from spherical calculation.
Arguing that the stones were not actually spheres goes directly against your own argument of "that could never fit in a gallbladder" and proves DEFINITIVELY just how ignorant you truly are. Perhaps your cranium is filled with fecal soap as opposed to a brain?
