It's time for the Liver Dance!
OK, let's look a bit at what you've done. You did your very first Big Liver Flush with four ounces of juice and olive oil a couple of nights ago. Then you did a couple of coffee enemas, foot reflexology, all that great healing stuff. You are continuing on IF 1/2 for the bowel cleanse part of the IP. Eating great, juicing, taking Superfood, etc.
Awesome.
Then you reported some pain around your appendix. Let's take a peek at where it is.
See, it's located way down there at the bottom of your cecum, which is the very end of your large intestines on your right hand side (your right, not mine). With all of the bowel and liver cleansing you've been doing recently, it could be that you're either squishing your appendix or unsquishing it. Either way, it could cause some intermittent pain or discomfort. What's cool is that you said that after you did the liver flush and have had some CEs and BMs, the pain has dissipated. :)
You're doing some serious work on that colon of yours as well as everything else! How long have you been taking IF 1/2? And your getting real mucoid plaque out? Is this the first time you've seen it? Or have you been passing it a lot and I've just missed the details? Is the mucoid plaque the hard stuff, the rope stuff, or the slimy grape cluster looking stuff? I'm just curious. It's ALL good. The cool thing about colon clenases is that you'll be able to assimilate your nutrients so much better, and all of your organs will begin to respond better. You'll actually feel more clear headed, simply because everything is working like it's supposed to. That's why we always start with a colon cleanse first.
I think you got a little enthusiastic by doing two big liver flushes almost back to back. I think your doctor within told you very quickly, "Dude! Gimme a chance to catch up here! Easy on the detox!" As you found out, you were flushing/detoxing faster than your body could get rid of the crud, and you started feeling pretty crummy. I am guessing this is why Schulze talks about doing big liver flushes once a week on the IP. I'm almost positive that regular flushers just do them every two weeks.
I think you did a great job of problem solving on your own by doing the extra enema, and tada! Your doctor within was right! Wow!
Are you taking Uny's parasite cleanse right now? I don't think you are, just asking. I'm asking because the liver tea and tonic/tincture have some anti-parasitic herbs in them, but other than that, the main anti-parasitic thing you're doing right now is fresh garlic. The fact that a big ol' tapeworm decided to "move out" says that your gut environment is becoming more non-supportive of these opportinistic critters. Same thing with the red liver flukes and the other stuff you've been expelling.
Isn't it cool?
One thing I have to ask, though... are you eating kefir? Because with all the cleansing your doing, you want to make sure you are adding in "good neighbors" (microflora/probiotics) as you are showing the "bad neighbors" out the door.
Oh, and do you have any fresh ginger? You sould, if you're doing the regular liver flush drink. You can juice the fresh ginger root and sip it for nausea. Works for me. Also, peppermint leaf tea works nicely, too, in a cozier kind of way.
Anyway, I think you are doing a super duper job, Ray, and I am very proud of you.

When we are doing the bowel cleanse, when do we know that the colon has been uncovered and is ready for rebuilding and repair? It seems to me that we could just go ahead and be eating the kefir and fermented veggies once we come off the juice fast, and not really worry about it. It seems to me that the microflora might figure things out what is best down there in the gut environment once they are introduced. I don't know any of this for certain, I'm just thinking out loud.
So, when we are doing a bowel cleanse, is there a way to tell when we are cleansed enough? I know the colon is about the length of three busses...should we be expecting that much mucoid plaque to be passiing through? I understand about healthy colon function without any assistance, I'm just vague on what is to be expected between start of colon cleanse and end of colon cleanse.
