First of all, Shay, I'd like to tell you not to worry too much about the weight being displayed on the scale. It's going to be an inflated number, because you had just consumed a bulk amount of food. Once most of it is digested and you next void, the value displayed should go down considerably.
I don't know much regarding how detox works, but emotionally I understand where you are. Before you beat yourself up, however, I think you should be proud of the fact that you even managed to fast for 23 days. How many people do you think can honestly say the same thing? I've never even managed beyond a week, so I envy you in that regard alone. :)
Just don't stress out and beat yourself up. From what I've read on numerous forums, it seems as though one's mental state is positively correlated with how successful of a fast they experience. So, if you re-enter this feeling guilty or upset, you're more likely to mess up again than if you re-enter this with a positive attitude.
You may have made the mistake of breaking your fast early (and with incorrect re-feeding procedure), but we're all human. We all have our vices--for some of us food, others perhaps alcohol, gambling, whatever--but I think there's something to be said for someone who puts themself in a state of deprivation for the sake of breaking a bad habit or regaining control over an addiction.
You're stronger than you think you are. :)
If it makes you feel any better, I'm having to restart my fast as well, so today is day one for me again as well.
I wish you well and hope to see many an update from you on here. Let's do our best to encourage one another.
