If I recall, the Beck literature that advises against the use of garlic was in the context of anecdote and for " military uses ". Beck said the military forbade its pilots from flying if they had consumed garlic within (if I recall correctly ) 24 hours prior to a flight. Given that context coupled with the fact that Beck did not really clarify the exact nature of this " cognition problems ", is this valid reason for the average person to avoid garlic? My opinion is an emphatic no ESPECIALLY since most of us average people will never be on missions flying military craft or the like. Also bear in mind that there is a difference between raw and cooked, both of which can be used for culinary purposes, and if I was to have serious suspicions with garlic it would be with cooked garlic, not raw.... but did Beck ever clarify which ( or both ) forms of garlic he said not to eat because of cognition problems?
On the overal, even given the element of mystery to this work I was somewhat fascinated with Beck's work / literature in this respect ( zapping / electrification,
Colloidal Silver , etc) especially on his version of zapper. I still have a silver puppy...and I'll be darned, I have never been able to find anyone to give me a good explanation as to why I develope a rash after doing even very short courses of " electrification " at the radial pulse point. After only 2 or 3 days of such, I always get a rash that ends up looking something like poison ivy...... ? The closest I've ever come is one person on a different forum suggested this might happen if I don't have enough water in me.
