Thanks for letting us know how you're doing and the success you have had with pau d'arco tea. I would add for the folks who are not familiar with your story that, while pau d'arco has been the centerpiece of your successful fight, you also did juiced vegetables and took some other items. If you have the time, perhaps you could fill in some of those details for the benefit of other members.

Bromelain is also found naturally in pineapples so my morning juice which incidentally tasted fantastic was loaded with bromelain, I have read that bromelain literally strips the mucus coating away from cancer cells allowing your own bodies natural defenses to recognize them as the bad guys and attack and kill them.
I do have to disagree with your comments here. First of all the pineapple fruit is not that high in bromelain. Bromelain is concentrated in the stem of the pineapple, not the fruit.
And bromelain is a protein digestive enzyme. But mucus is primarily composed of polysaccharides, not protein, which means that the bromelain will have very little effect on mucus.
And finally, cancer cells are not coated with mucus. Cancer cells are embryonic tissue. And like the fetus, which is also a foreign protein, cancer cells and fetuses hide from the immune system through a coating of human chorionic gonadotropic hormone HCG). This is why they were looking in to using anti-HCG vaccines to fight cancer about 20 years ago.
Good info. It could be, however, that bromelain might have some effect at stripping away the outer layer of cancer cells since it is a digestive enzyme and that is what Kelly used to defeat his pancreatic cancer. Granted that chymotrypsin, serrapeptase, amylase and other enzymes might have been more important, but then again, bromelain is also a very powerful binder that potentiates many other items, including other enzymes from what I have read. Perhaps his bromelain, from both the supplement and the bit in the juice, also helped potentiate the pau d'arco?
Bromelain is widely available in supplement form, though it is a good idea to go with a quality product as it has been found that effectiveness and actual bromelain content varies widely from one manufacturer to another. A good place to look in my opinion would be iherb.com, where you can also find some good combination enzyme products such as Garden of Life's OmegaZymes as well as Serrapeptase supplements (I use the Doctor's Best brand). If you have never ordered from iherb before, you can use my referral code of X0T949 to get $5 off your first order (I am not an affiliate of iherb's, but I do get a few cents credit on my own future purchases when someone uses the code).
A modestly priced quality enzyme combo is JarrowZymes Plus, which you can get at a number of places including CureZone sponsor Utopia Silver Supplement Company (and you can get 15% off if it is not currently on sale at Utopia if you use the CureZone discount code of LR001).
Besides the fact that digestive/pancreatic enzymes may directly help fight cancer cells, they also help digest some of the foreign proteins in our diet, which can cut down on mucous production. Mucous is a defense mechanism the body uses in response to foreign objects. Thus, digesting and helping eliminate such objects can result in less mucous.
A further note: healthy mucousal linings are needed for optimum health and immune function. When they are stripped away, the body struggles mightily to rebuild them. For that reason, it is important to balance the need for cleansing with the need to maintain healthy mucousal linings. Perhaps the best plan would be initial cleansing and then limited cleansing thereafter. One exception when it comes to cancer in my opinion would be coffee enemas, especially at the outset of adopting an anti-cancer protocol.
The late great cancer pioneer Max Gerson observed that he never found a single cancer patient who did not have an impaired liver. In fact, initially half of his patients who were using his intensive juicing therapy ended up dying of liver failure due to the large release of toxins having to be processed by already impaired liver. Thus measures such as coffee enemas, coconut milk, curcumin, and beet root juice to help open the bile duct and keep it open and flowing to release toxins can be critical. I also consider milk thistle to be a critical element for liver health since it helps protect and regenerate the liver.
All the best,

Great info...I also have an addition, though I am no expert I believe that plain old lemon juice is also very good for the liver and although it would seem acidic it actually helps the body to be alkaline once ingested...
This is confusing to people so I thought I would respond to clear this up. When the lemon juice reaches the intestines it over stimulates the release of alkaline bicarbonate stores, which is why lemon juice creates an alkalinizing effect.
I took the serrapeptase for a few months every morning and sometimes at night on an empty stomach. I eventually developed a tight kind of sore pain in my neck on the left side. So I stopped taking it and then in a few weeks with the pain gone I started taking it again in about a week the neck pain was back.
So I don't know what to think of it. I believe that the serrapeptase helped with the fibroid/bleeding but I have not had a new ultra sound to confirm that. I wanted to wait a few months and give the enzyme therapy time to work. The pain in my neck is not bad but is it a progressive danger or a side effect that will work itself out?
It is hard to say. But one thing we do have to keep in mind is that tissues throughout our body as well as hormones, antibodies, etc. are all protein based. The enzymes are not tissue specific so they are not going to only target cancer or fibroid cells.
Bromelain is widely available in supplement form, though it is a good idea to go with a quality product as it has been found that effectiveness and actual bromelain content varies widely from one manufacturer to another.
It also needs to be pointed out that bromelain is a common allergen Therefore I recommend going with other protease enzyme sources. Straight protease enzymes can be found in health food stores or there are various herbal sources such as dan shen (red sage root).
One exception when it comes to cancer in my opinion would be coffee enemas, especially at the outset of adopting an anti-cancer protocol.
This is something I have to disagree with. It is the caffeine in the coffee that is stimulating the liver to flush. But caffeine also overstimulates the adrenal glands leading to decreased immunity and increased inflammation, which contributes to cancer. Digestive bitters would be a much better way to cleanse the liver is with digestive bitters and plenty of water throughout the day.
Thus measures such as coffee enemas, coconut milk, curcumin, and beet root juice to help open the bile duct and keep it open and flowing to release toxins can be critical.
Turmeric is great for cancer, although the active component curcumin is poorly absorbed.
I would not recommend beet root though. One it is very high in iron. Iron promotes cancer growth, can promote the growth of cancer microbes and can increase oxidative damage. In addition beet root is high in sugar, which can also promote cancer growth. Again bitters would be a safer choice. Bitters not only stimulate the release of toxins from the liver, but also bile and enzymes.

Protease enzymes have been used in conjunction with some cancer therapies to potentiate the effects. An example is with laetrile. Laetrile works for early cancers, but will not work on advanced cancers. Laetrile only works as a pain killer in advanced cancers. But combined with protease enzymes the laetrile will work on advanced cancers.
Absolutely wonderful news! Thank you for sharing your story and encouraging others.

I still drink my 2 cups of pau d'arco tea every day and swear by the stuff.
I agree, pau d' arco (lapacho, taheebo, ipe roxo) is a great herb for many things. It contains 18 antiseptic anthraquinones and napthaquinones as well as 5 anti-inflammatories.
A tip though, combining pau d' arco with chaparral, which is also antitumor, will potentiate the effects of the pau d' arco.
See my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer stomach, that has also spread to the liver, six months ago..
Once cancer spreads to the liver it can become very aggressive, which means he needs to be very aggressive about the cancer. I recommend really focusing on mitosis inhibitors (chaparral, black walnut hull), hyaluronidase inhibition (myrrh), angiogenesis inhibition (ashwagandha) and antimicrobials and immune stimulants (chaparral, pau d' arco, myrrh, andrographis, etc.). But I would not rely on herbs alone at this point. I highly recommend looking in to ozone therapy as well, which is highly effective for advanced cancers and is very safe when used properly.
