Thank you Music Man. That's very reassuring.
I'm going to give it a whirl. My case is a bit complicated by an undiagnosed mast cell disease, so I am very sensitive to many foods, chemicals and medicines. I don't know if I need
Antibiotics after surgery, or not?
Or if I need vitamin C I.V.'s ?
I'm trying to find out about this currently.
I will continue to post here about my case as information becomes available.
[Btw, I have had
cavitation surgery before in 1998. It helped my case quite a bit very quickly. I actually had osteomyelitis of 18 years standing from where I had had my wisdom teeth cut out at age 17. The surgeon removed some yellow pus from my jaw. Quite remarkable. And I felt better instantaneously. I mean, right that second I felt better, a lot better. I gained weight, over 40
pounds in a year. I was skeletal previous to this. You could count my ribs through the front of my chest. My mast cell reactivity declined a lot too. I was reacting to everything I was eating. I'm hoping this surgery will help me again. Mast cells originate in the bone marrow, and are intimately bound up in immunity. So having an infection (in the bone marrow) could have something to do with my case, esp. since I have benefited so dramatically in the past. Too even some conventional researchers have speculated that occult dental infections could be involved in some cases of mast cell disease (I was shocked when I read that). My case has gone down hill over the last 5 years dramatically. I have delayed taking action as there are so many conflicting opinions on
cavitation surgery . Now, I have to do something, even if it is wrong (!) I only hope it gives me some relief and extra time.]
Thank you again for your post. It is very helpful.
