How much Cayenne are you taking? Tincture or powder? Are you getting up once an hour or so and walking around for 5-10 minutes or so? I don't think you have to walk for two hours in order to get your circulation going, I might be limping after walking in the mall for two hours too lol. I would think getting up and walking around for a few minutes several times throughout the day would help a lot. Have you tried that?
When I had the circulation problem with my legs along with the Cayenne I also took and still take the Hawthorn Berry and Bilberry tinctures, they're for the heart which has to do with pumping the blood and circulation.
thanks, hawthorne and bilberry, I'll see if Uny has those in her shop, I need to place another order soon. Taking cayenne in tincture form, Uny's recommended dosage, though I rarely remember to take it more than once or twice a day. I need to get one of those alarm watches or something Yeah, or something! It can't very well work if you don't take as much as you need ;) you know Uny's famous saying; enough, Enough, ENOUGH!
I think I lose track of time when I'm working and don't get up as often as I should. Thats an easy fix, just make sure you don't lose track of time and make it a point to get up several times a day and walk around. Here's a link to a cool timer you can download, you can set it with your choice of alarm sounds for several times a day to get up and walk around and take your tinctures. download.cnet.com/Cool-Timer/3000-2350_4-10062255.html Of course a couple months ago when this got really bad, I paid much closer attention, but I feel like the damage was done by then, so to speak. Many years of sitting far longer than I should at a stretch, and frankly I think even with breaks, if I'm at the computer essentially 12 hours a day, there is no way to really counteract the effects of that. On the one hand absolutely, you can't ever get rid of the disease unless you get rid of the cause for the disease, but on the other hand you can counteract sitting at the computer for 12 hours a day, you can can get up once an hour for 5 minutes and walk around the house. The first step you have to take to get well is to stop doing what it is that is making you sick to begin with! Common sense tells me that sitting for 12 hours a day isn't helping the situation at all, but of course I did the same thing so I'm speaking from hindsight lol! It was probably cumulative. I had the insane idea I could ignore my body's needs and expect it to perform this ridiculous task without paying me back for the abuse. This I understand, when we're younger we never think of any of the eventual consequences we'll have to pay for what we do to our bodies. It is my hearts desire to change this fact in as many people as I can.
I feel some big changes coming for 2010 - some are in motion already, and part of all this may be cutting back on my hours and pursuing something more spiritually fulfilling to make at least part of my living. That is great news, when you make a change like that it will go a long way towards your healing, its important to feel spiritually fulfilled for sure and for certain. I'm so hampered by the circulation thing now, though - neither sitting in a chair nor standing for very long is tolerable. Walking all day in a mall or anywhere else would not have been a problem 6 or 8 months ago. The shift to a debilitating issue happened pretty rapidly, though I think I had a few warning signs before that (foot cramping). It got really bad after about 4 months of using a new, very expensive Herman Miller Mira chair that I thought would solve my sitting issues, but I think it actually aggravated it when the webbed seat started to cave in a little and the supporting bar put more pressure across my legs. I did a google search and actually came up with a comment from someone who had the same problem - impeded circulation from this same chair, though I think I was already on the road to that. Both my parents are insisting I get checked for diabetes, since my dad has it, and they're worried the leg problem could be an indicator, but I really think it's unlikely.
Well, DH is watching John Stewart, I'm gonna go put my legs up on the wall and catch a laugh or two.
I guess the bottom line of what I want to say is that you've got to make up your mind once and for all about doing what you know you've got to do to heal. Once you get your mind set, you just stick to it no matter what. An example would be, you've got a job for a doctor and you know you've got to get it done by a certain time so you do whatever it takes to get that job done, you've got to look at healing yourself with that same intensity. When I first started on the tinctures for my circulation problem I had researched the tinctures enough that I truly believed they were going to work for me but in order for them to work I had to make sure I did my part and that was to put them in my body on time, every time. I had to make sure I got up and moved instead of sitting down all day long, but once I made up my mind it was no big deal. With all due respect to Uny, I know she wouldn't want you to order bottles of tinctures to sit on the shelf and look pretty lol, I'm sure she'd want you to actually use them.
I can tell from your posts that you are very intelligent so I'm wondering what it is that is stopping you from doing what you know will heal you? We've all got different things that hold us back and I'm thinking that there must be something holding you back. We can all make excuses until the cows come home but excuses aren't going to heal us, I know, been there done that lol! I know you work from home so I've got to be honest and tell you that you've got it much easier than someone who is trying to heal who leaves home everyday to go to work. I can say this because I've been on both sides of the fence, I've had to take tinctures, IF#2 and all the stuff with me when I've left home to go to work and I know its so much easier on me when I'm at home, even if I'm working from home at least I'm home and can take the couple of minutes its takes to take my tinctures and get up and walk around the house for a few minutes. If there is something we can do to help you through whatever it is thats holding you back please let us know because I know you want to heal and I know you've to to know you are so deserving to have a happy, healthy life.
Abundant blessings

Hi Anja,
I agree with all the suggestions posted already and would like to add one.. BODYWORK!
Dr. Schulze talks about the importance of bodywork and shows some basic massage techniques as well as foot reflexology in the SYL series (Volume 9, sections 55,56 & 57). If there is blockage to an area, you will not get the nutrition in and the waste out. There has to be circulation to all areas of the body to fully benefit from all that you are doing to heal and restore health.
I think that many times people don't realize the importance of bodywork in their healing and maintaining a healthy body. We need to keep the blood and lympth moving freely throughout the body to receive the full benefits from the things we do to find health.
Of course the best way is to have 'hands-on' massage. If you don't have someone who can regularly massage you, there are many parts of the body you can massage yourself. Whatever you can do is better than doing nothing. There are many massagers that you can buy to help massage areas that are difficult if not impossible to massage if you are on your own. The only one I have found that does a good job is called THUMPER. http://www.thumpermassager.com/minipro.html
I'm sure there are others but I have not had a need to research all the options being sold today.
Your description of health issues sounds to me like you are in need of massage and foot reflexology. If you have the SYL videos watch the BODYWORK sections, it is an important part of all healing.
Here is a link to a post I did about deep muscle therapy:

Just some 'Food-For-Thought' that I hope will help you find YOUR answer to health.

I agree with what you said about the bodywork. If I'm not mistaken Anja's husband does bodywork for a living but if its anything like my situation she might NOT be getting bodywork from him. My husband and I are builders and my 'new home' is not so new anymore but still not completed lol! Kinda like the cobblers children who have no shoes! I hope its different for her.
Hopefully she DOES avail herself of her husbands bodywork. I'd love it if I had someone to work on me, it feels so much better if someone else does it for you.
Great post.

Hi Willow,
I know what you mean about the "cobblers children who have no shoes"... LOL!
Yes it is ALWAYS nicer if you have someone else massage you. I think just the human touch is healing. Just a thought here... do you have a girlfriend/family member that you could trade massages with? Just watch the SYL video, (volume 9, sections 55,56,& 57 ) together, pactice and learn what feels good/helpful. It is a great way to share friendship and healthy living!
I don't post often so your words [Great Post] mean alot! I follow Uny's forum here and I love to read your posts and am always enlightened by your words and all you add... Thank you!

Hi Anja,
LOL... your husband does bodywork! You are a very lucky lady.
I hope you can get him to come out of his 'massage retirement' enough to do some work on you. All the other things you are doing are great, but my 'gut' says you need to get into the deep layers of your muscles and I am not sure you are able to get there without massaging into the muscle itself.
I hope you are feeeling stronger with every day!
Wishing you GREAT health!
