Dear Depj,
If the cortisone had been injected into your connective
tissue over a period of time, you'd have good reason
to worry. But I wouldn't be overly concerned about
diluted injections into your scalp on a one-time basis.
Instead of cortisone drops on your scalp, I would
substitute coconut oil drops -- the very best virgin
coconut oil you can find. I use Tropical Traditions
Virgin Coconut oil. It's wonderful for the skin and
scalp. And if you eat a tablespoonful of it each day,
your internal organs will say, "Thank you! Thank you!
Thank you!"
At 64, I've got more hair now than I did 20 years ago.
In the old days, after my morning shower, I'd find at
least a dozen hairs stuck to the side of the tub. Not
any more. If I find two hairs now, that's a lot. I give
the coconut oil part of the credit for that. And it's
a sign to me that a lot of other organs and systems in
my body, are also functioning correctly. My eyes are
back to 20/20. When I was 50, I was very dependent
on eye-glasses.
Bodies CAN and DO heal themselves, if you give them
clean living foods, pure water, nutritious supplements,
lots of exercise and sunshine, and are asleep by
10 P.M. There's more, but that's a lot of it.
I'm also a big believer in talking to my body. I say
affirmations every day, many of which I've posted on
the affirmations forum here at CureZone. My body loves
to hear encouraging words -- and it responds magnificently. In your place, I'd talk to the cells of
my scalp every evening just before bed. Tell them it is
your intention (NOT wish) that they, your cells,
cleanse themselves of the toxins that has caused your
hair to fall out. Tell your cells that you're going to
give them the very best nutrients, so that they can do
their job. Ask the other 75 trillion cells in your
body to send the scalp-cells an internal email filled
with Love, Light, & Healing Energy. I'd gently massage
my scalp with my fingers while talking to them.
That may sound a bit airy-fairy when you say it the
first few times. But 6 months from now, it will seem
like deep wisdom. Trust me on that. Affirmations are
a powerful, powerful way to heal yourself physically,
emotionally, and spiritually.
Keep us posted on your ongoing story. I will keep you
in my prayers.
Blessings,
Owen
