Hi socalgrl,
I have used coffee enemas for that purpose. My experience shows me that it takes several days of fast with coffee enemas to accomplish a liver cleanses but when done I feel great and my liver thanks me.

Hi Charly,
Why do you say that “they are not a substitute for a Liver Flush”? Have you tried my protocol?
You say you are 63 years old and are in excellent health - what makes you think that the liver cleanse or flush if you prefer is the sole reason for your good health? I am 83 years young and quite fit although I suffer from diabetes, hypertension, emphysema, and high cholesterol i have managed by natural means to control all these symptoms.
I believe that diet, living conditions, exercise, stress management and mental attitude are all very essential to a good, healthy and happy life.
Magnesium citrate is not that much easier on my system than magnesium sulphate. I find that the oo/lemon or grapefruit juice liver flush very taxing on my body. It takes me a good 5 days to recover while my 3 or 5 day fast leaves quite rested and full of energy.
So we disagree but then I am sure that some people prefer one method over the other because we are all different. What works for one does not always work for another.

Hi socalgrl,
Thanks for your reply.
In a pinch I have used Folgers Red can coffee with good results. I prefer Traders Joes coffee but it is not always available.
I would not do a Parasites cleanse unless I have definite symptoms of a parasite infection. Most of the ingredients are unfriendly to our digestive system. Same goes for the liver cleanse. It puts our liver in an “overload” condition and taxes our energy.
Tonight I am suffering from an indigestion from overeating. I just found a restaurant that serves gluten free dishes including pizzas. I made a pig of myself but boy! was it good.
Enjoy life and keep healthy!

Hi socalgrl,
Congratulation!
I am also very interested in FIR therapy. I do not like the standard sauna as I find it taxing. I am hoping the FIR will not cause me any exhaustion.
