I'd got my
Amalgams out 2 years ago.
First test 6 months later before chelation, with doctors data mercury was 7.4 ug/g creatinine.
Then done 15 months of chelation with dmsa.
My first test through a lab in germany, Micro trace minerals 4 months into chelation was at 1.29 mcg/g Creatinine.
The next, 3 months later was 2.17 and the next 4 months later again was 1.97.
Ok some strange results. I have been on vitamin and mineral and the other usual like glutathione etc and doing 1500mg dmsa/day for 3 days every fortnight and did not feel bad at all.
Ok, straight after doing the last test i stated cholrella and algin, then 6 weeks later started cilantro.
Thsi cilantro was was fresh off the plant that was maybe grown under lights and some was also from cut plants imported to the local shop from more sunny climates but all was fresh and i ate both the leaves and stalk. Some my not like this, but i just put it in my mouth and chewed it. Tasted not so bad.
Anyways started off slow as i know cilantro is not chelation material, but just stirs up the mercury. Had 3-4 stalks and leaves 3 times a day. I did not feel any horrors that some report on here which is why i started slow. Upped it to several stalks/leaves 3 times a day.
Did this for 5-6 weeks as it was then christmas and wanted to enjoy myself without the hassle of going to the shop for it and taking it but still did the minerals etc.
All the while through the 5-6 weeks i took dmsa. 100mg 3 times a day as the half life of mercury is 8 hours and that was as small a dose i could get in a capsule. I know this may be against the Cutler way but as cilantro is not a chelator, i thought i needed to do this.
I started on dmps after christmas. 100mg 3 times per day for 3 day per fortnight. Had done 3 rounds of this.
That took me into 6 weeks after christmas and i done another metals test. The result for mercury 2.61
I was surprised it was higher than the last test, as cilantro is supposed to remove merurcy in 3 weeks as some people have said. Well i was hoping it would anyway according to the 3 weeks case but i knew the results would tell, so here is the evidence, its does not.
But then again, did i take the cilantro the correct way. Should i have boiled it and made a soup of it? Eaten double or 3 times the amount.
Anyways cilantro is not a chelator and maybe it just stired up the mercury which is why the result is higher that the last.
I have finished the 3 month course of dmps and the chelation doctor i was seeing did not give me any more.
He said that while the result was higher that as i have been chelating for 17 months now, so i should stop dmsa/dmps because chelation my still keep going on on its own without them.
I did not tell him i was on cilantro as i know he would disagree. He was a bit confused as to why the result was higher this time, so i guess the cilantro was doing EXACTLY AS IT SAYS ON THE TIN, stirring mercury up.
I am now at the present time back on the cilantro (and tincture) and have enough algin to last for about 4-5 weeks, so will be shortly ramping up the cilantro (in a soup style). Probably will then have my next test in September.
Hope this helps others thinking on using cilantro. I can say i have not found it good or bad.
I will post my results when i get them.
