I was wondering which direction gives the best sleep? I found when my head is pointing toward the north, I have the most interesting dreams.
What about anyone else?

This is a reply to # 136,073Cutie Pie...YES! That is the direction that is supposed to give the most interesting/connected dreams! Head pointing North.
I had read this in a Seth book and we moved our bed around and tried it for a while. I DID have an inordinant amount of super-wild psychic & out of body type dreams when we did that. But then we had to move the bed back to it's East-head position because the bed just didn't fit properly with the North-head position.

This is a reply to # 136,076Ha! You did? I read them all in 2000. 'Seth Speaks' just jumped off the shelf of my local 2nd hand store at me. I had never been into that kind of stuff before...and I didn't even understand what it was all about...but opened it up to some page and couldn't put it down! I even felt embarrased buying it! (ha) But, wow, I was a philosophy student in University but always felt sooooooo unsatisfied by what I was being taught. It just wasn't the philosophy that I had stirring inside me. I remember the philosophers I resonated with the most was an ancient old Greek one that believed that everying was filled with consciousness...a stone rolled down the hill because it wanted to get somewhere! Of course everyone in the class laughed but I thought YEAH, I like it! Then we studied all those boring 'prime mover' type guys...it was just so FLAT. Nietzsche thrilled me because he was BIG, larger than life and essentially positive...but that's it.
When I found the Seth books I realized that that was the philosophy that I had been searching for ever since I was a teenager! Everything he said just seemed SO true....SO interesting with complex ideas...yet SO simple! It all felt right.
Just had to get that out...neat that you've read those books too. I often think that people here on curezone would benefit from reading The Nature of Personal Reality as it's soo focused on practical exercises for improving overall health (mind body spirit)...but those books don't resonate with everyone that's for sure!

MoreThis is a reply to # 136,078So far I have read several including Seth Speaks and The Way Toward Health. I have also read part of one of the Michael books, but did not feel nearly the truth in them that the Seth books had. Another great channeled book is Agartha by Meredith Lady Young.

I'll look for that book. When reading the Seth books, they really opened my mind and really taught me how to relax and to meditate.
My body resonated with pleasure with the peace and contentment of being in the state of becoming. I became a part of Nature and all its wonders. I sought only the good in all beings.
I was on a mission to cure my vision which is far sighted. I was determined that if I could relax enough, and if I could will my involuntary muscles of my eyes to relax, that my vision would be corrected.
I knew this because I always felt a straining of the muscles in my eyes to see.
One day, as I layed quietly meditating and be thankfull for all that is, I had acheived what I set out to do. The tugging of my eye muscles totally relaxed. It felt as though a rubber band behind my eyeballs had loosened.
I looked across the room. And everything was in perfect sharp hairline detail! I looked to the other room it too was sharp as a tack. I had acheived total relaxation! The involuntary muscles of my eyes finally relaxed. This realization caused me to become so excited I tensed up again. The vision blurred.
This totally relaxation only occurred a couple of times since. My life changed and circumstances with it. But again I feel like I am becoming closer to being able to meditate with total abandonment.
Body cleansing also cleanses the mind. I am feeing the positive effects of parasite, liver, kidney, bowel cleansing. I am in a position to being able to treat my body as the temple that it is.
I can appreciate the oneness of All That Is with a less toxic body.
It is wonderful to feel wonderful.
But my mission is on. To dedicate time to deep breathing and meditation which will inevitably create the mindset for intuitive channeling and mental powers beyond the ordinary.
I always love a new book.

This is a reply to # 136,082What a wonderful experience. Have you read Take Off Your Glasses and Learn to See by Jacob Liberman? He discusses exactly that thing. It was interesting to me that he considers astigmatism to have been caused by emotional trauma. We use our eye positions to help us remember things. Like when asked to remember how something looks, we might look up and to the left. If something happens that is traumatic and we don't want to remember it, we stop using those eye positions as a memory aid and this lack of use causes the cornea to become misshapen.
So far, I have not been able to correct this vision problem but I am hoping that my appt with a medical intuitive on Thursday will be of some assistance.
Hope you enjoy Agartha, Journey to the Stars. It is a great book.

This is a reply to # 136,088No, there was nothing in there about autism. I didn't remember anything and I just checked the index and it was not listed. It was mostly about eyesight and its healing. There was another book (a precurser to this one) by the same author called Light, Medicine of the Future. He talked about using colored lights to cure many vision problems.
It was interesting.

PS I read all the NDE forum today. I am amazed. I know of them but have never had one. I've had a couple of really unusual experiences that I don't have a label for. Not asleep and not out of body. But they were FANTASTIC!- Sandi rudenski

This forum but especially the NDE forum has been a real help to me. I have lived most of my life in fear and guilt. After reading your writings I wondered how the heck could I get rid of all my guilts, self-inflicted and other inflicted. One night last week when I lay down to sleep, I called upon God, my angels & guides, whoever they are and asked them to dissolve my guilts. Some instances I was able to recall and could actually experience the feeling of them leaving. Most guilts I don't seem to have a conscious knowledge of except that I can feel them in my chest. That night there was so much energy going on I couldn't sleep all night.
I think most of my guilts are gone. However, I still have fear and anxiety hanging around there, most of which are unnamed. I am working to find a way to dispel them also except for ligitimate ones where I am actually in danger.
I have somewhat of a problem in that I have never met any of my angels or guides. Had a fantastic experience with God once. But, that was back when I was a Mormon and knew all the answers because they were hand fed to me.
Now, I don't know who/what God is, who/what Jesus is. In the mormon culture Eloheim is God, aka Father in Heaven, Heavenly Father. Jesus is just Jesus our Savior, or Jesus the Christ. I have alse seen him referred to as Yashua (sp?). Then, of course there is the Holy Spirit which is a 3rd being.
I am really confused. When I talk to God, He/She tells me to quit worrying about all this as it is unimportant. So, if it is unimportant I wonder why there is a Jesus. Personally, I resent having a go-between.

But...about you asking for your guilt to leave you and dissolve - that is fantastic! I'm so glad you're using your sleep-time constructively! That's what it's there for. Just ask. If you can formulate what you want/need for your growth and transformation - then you will get it.
As for the Fear...I suspect you will do the same asking process - that's great.
A word on the Fear surrounding dangerous situations. I'd say - get rid of the Fear completely (it's not Fear that saves us in dangerous situations....Fear actually draws situations towards it - so that then we can say, "You see!? I KNEW I should have been fearful about ___!" Like attracts like.) It is Intuition that we should listen to to keep us out of danger.
Dissolve the Fear and exercise your Intuition!
*I think that the God/Spirit you're in contact with is correct! The 'name' or dogma surrounding spirituality doesn't matter....it's the feeling and knowing you have inside you about goodness, love...*

Your response was helpful. I also have severe scoliosis and read somewhere on the forums that the mind (or whatever) prefers metaphors to work with. So I have been picturing the "spine of a book" for my back. You know the kind that sort of look like a bunch of vertebrets stacked. (Not the spiral ones). If you can visualize it....then it can happen. If you believe you can heal your spine then you can!
Do you know about spine health and how it is the energy from the Universe that travels down our spine and connects us to Earth and to the Divine? Imagining a golden Divine energy as a rod of Light that makes space and heals your spine may be a good idea too.

The link below is to the therapy that Edgar Cayce suggests for Scoliosis. I haven't read through it yet...but spine health is very very important...he often suggests getting a vibrator and having someone run the vibrator gently up and down the sides of your spine on a regular basis. He has oils to be massaged on too. He often suggests bowel cleansing and/or enemas. Please take a look - his therapies cured thousands of people. (click on the fourth link down! Read all you can...)

Forget everything but the most important thing....Love...not my love...not your love....but the Unconditional Love that comes from the_________ fill in the blank....greater loving consciousnes that forgave us for our weaknesses...Walk in love...without judgement...of even yourself....Love yourself the way your_________fill in the blank greater loving consciousnes loves you...the rest is just symbolism and rhetoric.....
fear is an addiction...treat it with loving kindness and watch it creep off in the darkness from whence it came...
also consider getting in touch with a very joyful accupuncturist for your spine...I have now broken my neck twice and seriously reinjured it a third time...We are fighting the same battle...A positive attitude is also a necessary ingrediant in healing...

Oh...Is 'the way towards health' a more newly compiled Seth book? I'll have to look that up.
I have read a couple of the Michael books and although interesting they didn't resonate like the Seth books do. Being astrologically minded I wondered if Seth appealed to fire/air types and Michael appealed more to earth/water types...hmmm. Or maybe Seth is just better than Michael!! ha ha. (I had been trying not to judge! ha)
I will look up the book you suggested...if you like Seth then I'll probably like that book!

This is a reply to # 136,083The Way Toward Health is partially a channeled book, but it is more an acount of the death of Jane Roberts. Within the struggle to help Jane recover, a lot of good information is revealed.
We have a really good bookstore here that had a copy of Agartha last time I was in there. It is called Silo Seven. (in reference to the former weapons silos that are now being used for business purposes). I will see if they are on the web, because Agartha may not be all that easy to find.

Now that we are talking about it, I will have to read it again. I just finished a book called Angels and Companions in Spirit by Laeh Maggie Garfield and Jack Grant. It was pretty good, but gave different colors for the chakras than I am used to seeing. Now I am reading Children Who Remember Previous Lives by Ian Stevenson. Another favorite of mine is The Secret Language of Signs by Denise Linn.
Well, enough of book time for now. I am a voracious reader with eclectic tastes. (anything but westerns and really hokey romances)
