Some say to use aloe vera products, but it’s so hard to find ones that contain only the good stuff from aloe vera and not the whole plant (aloin is said to be bad). And then, do you have to use the gels which line the gut or can you drink it in the distilled form?
*Note: In all of my research, for every article that says aloe vera can help gastrointestinal problems, I have seen TWO more that say it does more damage than good.
Eat foods that act as antioxidants and antifungals, as well as probiotic foods.
An interesting insight I recently read talked about how people with Leaky Gut Syndrome can have a bad reaction when eating "gut-friendly" products like yogurt. They are actually having an allergic reaction to acidophilus. How do you know if you are having a bad reaction?
On his website Health-Truth.com, Michael Biamonte, C.C.N. says:
"The typical profile of someone who reacts poorly to acidophilus is this: Upon taking acidophilus of any kind, they may develop skin rashes or skin itching, or some type of skin sensitivity. Also, they may develop what seems like a sinus infection or nasal drip. They may suffer very severe abdominal cramps or diarrhea, or discover that they have an increase in
food allergies or environmental sensitivities. Many people with this profile (the acidophilus allergy) already have bad
food allergies and are very sensitive to many things in their environment. But acidophilus makes it worse."
everytime i try acidepholous supplements a react to them i become more very irritated and my ibs gets much worse and more inflamed now i know why and i have asked to people im going to see and they have both said the same as what this statement says about eaky gut
