Hi LRF
Thank you for replying to my post.
I will look into it.
I see that you mention a cardio/pulmonary disorder. I am not sure, but cardio/pulmonary would be related to the heart /lungs.
Thinking back....
About 18 months ago, when my mother died, I got a terrible cold. This left me with a lingering cough that I have not been able to shake. I still have it, I cough up phlegm.
Because of the persistent cough, I went to a doctor, not mine, as she was away. She gave me
Antibiotics . It did not help. I went to see her again. She gave me another lot of
Antibiotics . It was a disaster.
These caused other problems for me...thrush.
I had never taken
Antibiotics much, let alone two lots!
well... I had never had thrush before. I did not go back to the doctor, I explained my symptoms to a pharmacist, who kindly told me what it was and gave me something to treat it with.
It was about the same time that my ankles started swelling.
I later went to a naturopath, who told me that the reason I keep getting colds lately is because my immune system is below par.
However, he gave me so many tablets, I took them for a while, didn't feel better, and gave up.
I have since found this very helpful site.
After what you wrote, and going back in time,
I guess the two could be associated. Maybe it is something to do with my lungs?
I have been a very healthy person, so this is all a learning experience for me.
Thanks again for your reply. This site is soooo great!
By the way, the cough is not likely a result of cold weather, we are having temperatures of 35-40 degrees
Celsius here. over 100 centigrade.
