Hi sofia,
Dehydration or Re-hydration is just a process where as the body cells either retain water or Lose their internal water!
You may also have a condition whereas the body may hold water, but this water may not be held internally inside the cell structure!
But, the main consideration in this case has to do with the condition of "IF" the cells are retaining water internally or losing water to the outside of the cell structure!
This process is "ALL" controlled by the pH Balancing process of the body!
The main control of this action may be related to the Sodium to Potassium ratios to each other!
And this may be effected by the ratios of the Calcium to the Magnesium, in ratio to the Sodium and Potassium ratios!
But, the main control is related to the Sodium to Potassium ratios to each other!
What may take place may be that when the cell has more Sodium than it does Potassium Electro-magnetic Energy available to it's self, then these cells may retain more water!
But the opposite may be true when these same cells may have more Potassium than it does Sodium Electro-magnetic Energy available to it's self, and in this case the cells may Lose their water!
In some schools of thought this may be called the sodium and potassium pump of the cells?
But the entire body and everything in the whole universe operates , Based upon the Acid Alkaline pH Balancing Principles!
And there is "NOT" one single thing which does not operate Based upon these principles!
Smile Tis your choice.
