Right im not going to get into brands here nor do i want anyone following suit because of this post.
Recently i have been using a legal party pill recreationally, now this specific brand dont list ingredients. Now everytime i take it i get a very fast die-off. Now i dont want to be graphic but it starts with getting a moist bum lol then what follows is gurgling in the stomach. Around 30 mintues later i end up having the most foul smelling bowel movement with loads of unidentifiable objects.
Now is it because the pills muck with neuro-transmitters maybe throwing the parasites off or is it because they contain an ingredient that has anti-parasitic properties. I know for fact that BZP which is due for ban was hailed for its anti-dewormer effects. I do know that the pills im taking do not contain BZP. I have ordered some BZP to take in small doses to see its effects on me.
In the meantime im taking a large strength pro-biotic and have another high potency one on the way to mix about with.

I've got nothing to offer w respect to your questions - whatever it is you're doing I just hope you are as cautious and smart as possible about it all.

MoreThis is a reply to # 1,028,502Hey Cora nice to talk again, unfortunatly not much better but getting things into more perspective now.
Im definitely sure these are doing something as since i have started with this experiments i have lost around 60-70% of the sore stomach that i usually wake up with. Now i wake up with extreme nausea that lasts around an hour but hey better than the pain.
These pills are clearing me out big time and im sure the high strength probiotics over time will help greatly.
Time will tell and hopefully i can hold on abit longer.

Try Dr. Ohihira's blend if you feel you'd like a switch, it's the best stuff on the market or at least accessibly so. Which are you taking now?

This is a reply to # 1,028,484Gosh, this sounds like something I would do. All kidding aside, you may be bang on about the neurological effects. The gut has almost 90% of our serotonin receptors contained in cells throughout, and we know parasites have access to the gut! Remember, worms are animals with rudimentary nervous system themselves, so it is not a leap to suggest the drug may have anti-parasitic properties.
My [past] parasitologist had me on anti-psychotic drugs to induce a similar result. It did not work. But another drug "lorazepam" an anti-anxiety drug, did induce a "break" in my infection for at least a week or more. They would not re-prescribe it due to it's addictive nature.
So, you are not far off the mark by suggesting drugs which have effects on the CNS could have serendipitous actions on parasitic infections. Shroom

This is a reply to # 1,028,721This all reminds me of a story this guy I once met told me. He had been travelling in Africa and picked up some kind of large parasite. When he got home to Australia he went to the doc about his belly troubles and was given some OTC antihelminthic, which rarely does a thing as we all know. This didn't work... so the doc gave him some prescription stuff... this didn't work so the doc brought out the big guns and gave him some mega strong prescription stuff (I don't know any of the drug names he was given). None of this worked... So he just went on living with this ever worsening belly problem, tried some herbs blah blah nothing worked.
Then he decided to subject his tenant to a hopefully lethal (to the worm) dose of psychedelics. I think his attitude was that he didn't have much faith this would work, but then again even if it didn't it could be fun anyway. He took enough acid to keep him tripping for 4 days (I don't know the quantities), and he didn't eat in this time. I am assuming he drank water.
After four days he had all kinds of rumblings and then a desperate urge to evacuate, and out came in one full go, a HUGE tape worm all noodled up, the size of a very large cow pat!!!
Since then his digestion has been great and his health returned!
Crazy huh!!
I hope this post isn't deleted, if it is it will just be testament to the fear people have of exploring what's always around us.

Hum.... Just got off wikipedia, and Wormwood is somewhat psychedellic, and was also used to produce absinth.
So that does explain some of the detox mood swings I am having. Hallucinogens, LSD in particular signifigantly interefere with seritonin levels, so i'm going to add 5-HTP and see if that helps. I don't take St. Johns Wart easily, because it makes you a little photosensitive, and I live in Florida.
Good tread, got me thinking.
