Last night went really well, did not have a hugh dinner but instead snacked on healthy alternatives. Took some oxy-powder aswell to give my colon a good clearout before the start of today. Will take this intermittantley through out the fast along with wheatgrass tablets. Went for a 7 mile run & persuaded my hubby to hop on his bike and come for a bike ride with me!! Felt great afterwards and finished off the night with a cup of hot lemon tea.
Had one of the best sleeps last night which put me in the right frame of mind for the fast. Notice that when i don't sleep well, i tend to snack on coffee and junk the following day!!!
Anyway this fast will be predominantly veg juice based with pineapple, apple and lemon/ginger for sweetness. I am going to take it one day at a time.
Anyway will keep you posted. But all i want is to get through the first 3 days, find in myself that it can be done and actually succeed. So if you have any words of encouragement or advice, let me know.
