Day 2--I want food
Day 2 of my master cleanseLast night I almost just ran upstairs and ate some graham crackers or honey nut cereal. There was a chocolate cake in the house yesterday too. I think the graham crackers were more tempting.

They keep saying it over and over in the forum-- the master cleanse is not a weight loss diet. Over and over. I understand their point-- you can't just do this and then expect to go back to business as usual.
But I'm so tired of being fat! So sue me if I want to lose weight from this. It's taken me a year to lose 40 lbs. I don't want to go so slowly in the next year. So I am hoping with this cleanse to get far enough under 200 lbs that I can maintain it after I come off the cleanse.
So how I am feeling. I don't like the lemonade. The maple syrup tastes funny to me. The worst thing is squeezing the lemons, I really wish I could just buy it pre-bottled. I have the great talent of being able to plug my nose internally, so it's no big deal to me. I do have a very low tolerance for spice, so the cayenne makes my mouth really hot afterwards.
I'm not using the Smooth Move like I've heard so many people doing. I'm noy taking anything with Senna. I'm using my mom's favorite herbal laxative tea, which is called Can-Gest. It's mild and I like it. I went through a horrible time a few months ago when I was constipated for weeks and had to have colonics just so I could not die. I had taken laxative after laxative, and the only thing that got me back to normal were the colonics. The colonics lady put me on a strict diet (it was just a friendly suggestion, between friends, because she is not a health care professional), and that is the only thing that got me back to normal.
My stomach-- a large mass of fat and stretch marks, looks A LOT better today. A lot of the stretch marks have massively shruken and turned much lighter and my skin is smoother. I think it's a combination of the dry brushing and the cleansing.
I really want to give up. Distraction is the only thing that keeps me going. I think, how many times have I eaten spaghetti or graham crackers or cereal or potatoes or toast?? How many times? Do any of those times matter now? No. I could have skipped any number of them and it wouldn't matter to me now. So I'm doing this for you- future self. I hope you appreciate.
Deep breathing makes me feel better too. Ahhh......
I don't have diabetes or pre-diabetes, but I have a blood sugar tester becasue I used to work for one of the companies and I just tested at 93mg/dl. This is before I have had any lemonade today. That's a normal fasting blood sugar for me, I go in the 80's after exercising and usually at night, for some strange reason, I am in the 80's. I can't wait until tomorrow, I'm going to weigh myself at the gym and work out. Then I'll test my blood sugar too. I should break out a tape measure today.
