Day 1-- Here we go!
The first day of my master cleanse, some goals, some background.
Date: 5/19/2007 12:57:57 PM ( 17 y ) ... viewed 1566 times OK, I have been wanting to do a master cleanse for awhile now, and I feel really motivated right now. I guess I should have done a liver flush first, but I tried a liver flush before, got NOTHING. Maybe I did it wrong, I don't know. I'm definitely going to try again after I end my cleanse. OK, first off. I have enjoyed coffee in the past, but I hardly ever drink it now, maybe once a week if at all. I also have smoked on and off for the past six years. I've quit many times, the longest time when I was pregnant, and I haven't been smoking for about 4 months now, with about 3 or 4 single-cigarette mistakes in there. I want it to be permanent this time. I still cough up phlegm almost every single day.
For two days, I have been only eating fruit. I have a regular digestion. I take probiotics, and I go once a day at least. In the past few days, it has been 2 or 3 times. I woke up this morning and did my first SWF. I felt a little nauseated, but I didn't feel it doing anything else. About 30 minutes later, I had my first lemonade. 10 minutes, there came the SWF. It wasn't harsh at all though. Although it was soft, and loooong, it was nice, quick, and painless.
So I weighed myself two days ago and I was at 230. I have to drink too much frickin' water. It's hard, especially since the bathroom is 3 flights of stairs up from me. So I think one of the best things about losing weight will be that I won't have as much water to drink to stay healthy.
I also starting dry brushing, and it feels wonderful. I also notice my skin looks a lot better, and that could just be a temporary effect, but we shall see. It's nice to see smoother skin on my stretch-marked, cellulite-filled, large stomach. That's my least favorite part of me. I want to weigh a lot less than I do now, but I'm focusing all my energy on getting to be under 200. I want a 1 in front of that! And then we'll go from there.
