Staying positive

This is about baby steps. The goal is simply to improve on yesterday. Today I am laying out the baseline....4 cigarettes, no coffee, more rapid activity, and 4 glasses of water.

    I've tried to start a journal of health before.  See, I've felt that I've abused my body and so needed to improve my health.  But I finally realized that really, I want to improve.  I don't know, maybe its because I did abuse my body and I want to find out how healthy I can become anyway.  Maybe its because of simple karma.

Regardless, I'm not going to discuss what I have done in the past.  The past is dead, but I am not.  I am here, living, breathing, and writing.  I am going to discuss what I am doing to improve and what I feel.  So today, I am comitting to writing here at least 5 days a week.

Another goal today was to not drink coffee.  I did not.  I did drink some jasmine green tea.  This was allowed by my rule to not drink coffee. 

Also I am counting the cigarettes I smoke.  I have not been a pack-a-day smoker ever, but any is just too much, I don't like how they make me smell and feel.  I have been amazed at how much energy I have had when I have quit for a few days.  Anyway I have had two and may have two more. 

Also I am counting the amount of water I am drinking.  I have drank 2 glasses of water, 1 glass of orange juice and 1 glass of tea.  I will drink at least two more glasses of water today. 

Also I am working on speeding up my activities, walking faster, moving faster, talking with more animation.  I am battling a sense of fragility and lethargy. 

I want to exercise more and also to do a liver cleanse followed by the master cleanse.  So as preparation, I am going to quit smoking and quit coffee and drink min of 8 glasses of water  and do some sort of exercise every day for 2 weeks before this. 

 But this is about baby steps.  The goal is simply to improve on yesterday.  Today I am laying out the baseline....4 cigarettes, no coffee, more rapid activity, and 4 glasses of water.

Tomorrow I will have a baby step improvement.
