Don't know what I should do...
What's the best way to come off the cleanse?
Date: 7/27/2006 11:44:20 AM ( 18 y ) ... viewed 4411 times I feel like quitting this cleanse. My stomach is upset a lot and I just don't feel good. Chugging this gritty weird drink mix just about makes me sick. I feel like stopping - mostly because my stomach hurts and the idea of putting another 8 oz. of that gritty stuff in me seems like a bad idea right now but it's time for my drink. I want my stomach to feel better but if I quit taking it I'll be constipated and feel even worse.
I haven't seen any kind of mucoid plaque or anything and the transit time of my food, which is the length of time from going in to coming out and which I've heard is a good indicator of proper digestion and colon health, is good - transit time seems to be about 1 day, so it's hard for me to convince myself to continue when I don't think there is much built up matter stuck in my intestinal tract. I've begun to believe my dentist also about my jaw/ear/throat pain - he thought it was TMJ or tooth grinding, I'm not sure if I grind my teeth at night but I know now that I do tightly clench my jaw while I'm sleeping. I don't know why it only seems to affect one side of my face but I know that I'm doing it. I'm going to have a bite guard made to wear at night to try and alleviate some of the pain but the bigger issue, the one that really needs solving, is the number of health ailments that I have developed in the last two years since I've had this job, including the random joint pain, terrible muscle tension and aches in my neck, shoulders and back, jaw/ear/throat pain, painful joints in fingers and hands - You know, I'm only 31 years old.
Maybe the main cause of most of my issues is stress. I don't know, but I do need to know the best way to exit this cleanse.
