My name is Melissa and I want to fast more desperatly than anything else right now. It must be a call from God because all I want to do is fast. In fact, I’ve been training for a century for 3 months and instead of being super excited to do the century, I can’t wait to finish it so that I can start fasting.

I don’t want any of my blog entries to be too long so I will keep everything short and sweet. I am doing this fast for 3 reasosn, the 1st is to lose weight, the 2nd is to become closer to Christ and the 3rd is to cleanse my body. My physical current state is that I am not overweight but would like to get more serious about cycling and overhauling my body will be a great way to do it. My spiritual current state is that I love Jesus Christ but I am not close enough to him nor do I know enough about him. I know I will change both these states of being and I look forward to the change.

I just bought my juicer, which was a little expensive, and I will keep you updated on my progress.
