Day 32...well, I thought it was almost over...
I had no idea how much food impacted you psychologically and your overall moods!

Why, hello there waist! Hello there jaw line! Who knew I had both?
So I turned in my proposal, which was ~5 pages, which is what the guidelines called for. My professor called me telling me she didn't think I was ready to defend it, and I would have to wait until next semester...What???
So I managed to write ~22 pages in 12 hours. It's a kick ass paper, but it just about killed me. Shame on me for not going above and beyond initially, but I do know that my professor has been approaching my Masters like a PhD. I guess that if I end up gong for my PhD, it'll be a breeze after this.
My body is holding up under all of this pressure. I am not even angry!!! Normally, I would be crying, calling everyone to talk about how unreasonable she is, and feeling sorry for myself. IT'S NOT HAPPENING! I just feel calm and am dealing with it.
I read someone's fasting/raw food success story that they used to be super-stressed and angry, too. But she, too, found that she wasn't angry anymore. I had NO IDEA what food could do to you psychologically. Wow!!!
Oh!!! Has anyone seen Jamie Oliver's (Naked Chef) new show on TLC where he goes into English schools and takes out crap food and replaces it GOOD food. It was so interesting!
A great example of what food can do to you was one child in particular. Jamie had to work directly with a child's mother. At the end of the show, Jamie talks to the mother and father. Check out what happened:
After ONLY 7 days of a healthy/no sweets diet, the child settled down and was no longer disobedient. He was going to bed with no problems, getting up with no problems, doing great in school, and the list goes on. Then the parents didn't think much about giving the child a sweet for a reward. Within 30 MINUTES, the child lost control and was violent, disobedient, in your face, and so on.
The parents were dumbfounded at the impact diet has on the body and mind. And children are such a good example of this, because their little bodies are still so pure and not clogged with years of crap.
I definitely learned a lot from that. It was good to see that before I start eating again.
Have a great day!
