I am feeling much better today. Yesterday was rough, but I made it. Tomorrow is the 20. I know I haven't said how long I am going to do this, but I don't want to jinx myself.
So I went for another colonic, and it was really interesting. When she got a lot in, I got soooo nausiated. I asked her about that, and she said that it's from the toxins being pushed around. As soon as the water was taken out, I felt great. She said it's like water and mud. You shake it up and it goes all over the place until it settles back down to the bottom. I am coming to the conclusion that it's just one of those necessary evils.
Unfortually, nothing really came out; 27 years of hard eating, and it's holding on for dear life. So she suggested that I try Psyllium Husk Power (NOW brand) and bentonite (Sonne's detoxification brand). Basically what happens is the bentonite, which she called a clay ?, actually latches onto the toxins. Then the husks will make you regular so-to-speak, and make sure that the clay and toxins are flushed out. Be careful, though. I was told that you have to take A LOT of water with the clay or it can expand and harden.
Then the lady at the store, who was highly recommened to me for her knowledge, had me get "Original Cleanse Smart" advanced cleanse hearbal system. Now this stuff is hard core! It focuses on the walls of mucus and the infamous "black, hard goo" that has built up on the walls of your intestines and colon. This will break it loose. I have actually read reviews on similar products, and people do loose weight and the "belly", because they are loosing what ever this stuff is. I actually (and unfortunately) saw a picture of what will come out. Don't read this if you get queezy: it will come out in a large-black rope-like substance in the shape of your instestines. The lady at the store was also telling me about this, but said I feel feel 100 times better afterwards. And this stuff is sitting inside me now!
My skin keeps getting softer and softer. I bought a book yesterday: A recipe book! : ) It's The New Mayo Clinic Cookbook. 99% of the recipes do not use sugar. If it is supposed to be sweet, they use honey. There's tons of veggie and fruits in every recipe. Very excited to put it to good use.
