Day 21!!!! Woo-hoo!!!
I have had a breakthrough and some things to consider...
It's a woo-hoo! kind of day.
Date: 4/28/2006 6:44:10 AM ( 18 y ) ... viewed 2509 times I never thought that I would make it this far.
I have had the most amazing breakthrough! When I now smell food, it is now just a smell like any other smell. It's like smelling clean sheets, flowers, cut grass. I no longer smell it and have a physical reaction to it; my body does not physically throw a tamtrum screaming, "I want that!"
Also, when I see food, I only see it. I no longer have the physical reaction to it as well.
That was one of my goals: to break the bonds that food had on me. I am so excited.
On another note, ausjulie, you mentioned what the physillium husks can do. I am noticing that I am getting the "hunger growls" again, and I really need to investigate this. I hope I haven't done too much damage to my fast. I will see if Oxypowder can pull the clay out just as well.
Can you get Oxypowder at health food stores? I am spening way too much money on all of this. I hope it is worth it. If anyone has done this, please let me know. I need some encouragement as I write yet another check.
Oh! Day 21 is another mini-goal: 3 whole weeks!!! This coming from a girl who was tortured by severe addictions to food. I am now getting a clue as to how hard it must be to break other substance abuses. I mean, I had no idea what not being addicted to food felt like until I experienced this seperation from the sight and smell of food.
After I have finished the clay and colon clean and start eating again, I will move to the liver and gall bladder and clean those out. I am going to be squeaky clean.
I love reading m.o.g.'s blog. He gives me such encouragement. I hope the longer I go, the more energy I feel. I already feel much better; I am much more calm. But I can go further.
I haven't lost much weight lately. : ( However, I started my period yesterday, and this physillium husk is pretty heavy, and it doesn't necessarily come out all of the time, which is not cool. Perhaps the Oxypowder can remedy that.
Oh! I got to wear a pair of pants yesterday that haven't fit in a year. And yet another, Woo-hoo!
I finished my coursework for my Masters yesterday. Now all I have to do is finish my blasted thesis, and I am done...woo-hoo!
Also, when I finish my fast, I will have paid off all of my credit cards, and then I can start on my school and car loan and be done with debt in (hopefully) three years. Woo-hoo! That is unless I pull an m.o.g. and go crazy on everyone with a super long fast. : )
Obviously my thoughts are everywhere. I better run. Until tomorrow! Here's to a woo-hoo kind of day!
