March 28
many walks, close to home, and downtown

Every day I've been walking for more than the 1/2 hour I recommitted to recently. Last Saturday night I went downtown for dinner and met a friend there.
We went walking afterwards, from the restaurant about 8 blocks to the Co-op, then back to where our cars were parked.
I got a shower water purifier from the Co-op during our walk, and I'm absolutely thrilled with the water purifier. It was about half as much as the ones most prominently advertised on the 'net, and works just as well, and furthermore the filter only has to be replaced once yearly with normal use.
I have felt great since I'm no longer showering in chlorine! It makes a major difference.
Anyway, back to the walk. It was an early evening walk. Early evening is a pleasant time to go walking.
Met a few dogs, a nice cockapoo named Edna, I remember specifically. I miss having a dog, but know that I am too busy to be responsible for the care of a dog.
It was different walking with a friend. Friends stop to look at things. I need to keep up my walking pace. But it worked out ok. We stopped to listen to some music and sat on chairs outside near the Co-op.
I've already said enough about this walk. It was about a mile and a half total.
The next day, I walked briefly in the mountains while out looking at real estate in the morning. Then in the afternoon, I walked for about an hour total, again downtown, and again with the midpoint being the Co-op.
Ate healthy kale/spinach puffs midwalk, which was clearly beneficial.
I notice I'm not as hungry when I do the daily walking.
Today I received my hospital bill for my recent medical issue. EEEK! It says they've billed my insurance. Hopefully it will all work out.
I know I'll owe something; hopefully it will just be my deductible.
Yesterday and today I walked in my neighborhood. That worked out well.
Today I purchased a swim suit, with the intention of resuming with swimming after many many years. Swimming was one of my favorite sports growing up.
And so it goes.
