11 days till the big day.
Date: 7/11/2006 3:32:21 PM ( 18 y ) ... viewed 2153 times Well after leaving the colonic therapists office after a very awful colonic, where we didn't really get anywhere because of the discovered blockage in the descending colon, I was sent to the drugstore to get some magnesium citrate, a liquid laxative.
I took it at 4:30 yesterday and though I was running to the bathroom off and on, no real relief. However this afternoon I think I got rid of some of the blockage and immediately felt better. So today I had a protein salad for lunch (organic greens, carrots daikon pumpkin seeds sunflower seeds and marinated tofu, brought to you by the awesome coop I shop at). Very delicious.
I'm off to the gym or to run I haven't decided which yet.
I'm currently burning CDs as we're giving our guests mixed CDs as favors. However it's taking absolutely forever and I'm kind of worried I"m not going to be able to meet my quotas. It's Tuesday and I'd like to get half of them done as it's going to take probably till 6PM to get 40 some CDs burned.
I'm pretty uptight at all times and I want to go home and relax and enjoy the all-star game tonight. I haven't been able to relax in about 2 months and I'm just about driving myself nuts.
Yesterday I ate two pieces of yummy whole grain bread, a piece of pastrami, more mayo than I should have, some hot sauce and mustard. I also had a big organic salad with tomatos and a frozen banana and a hersheys bar.
Pretty yummy. I did not exercise. I've been having trouble finding the energy to do everything I want to do, and yesterday I came home and crashed on the couch and didn't move. I do want to be exercising every day for sure.
Tonight for dinner I'm going to have one of my favorite dishes ever (that I created), cinammon lentils and mushrooms. It's so good. You take westbrae lentils in a can, finely chopped mushrooms, and simmer them, in a little veggie stock or just the lentil juice from the can. YOu put a few whole cinammon sticks in there, some ground clove and nutmeg and a packet of splenda. Sound gross? It's really actually quite good. I also have this awesome fermented raw cabbage that I've found in the coop. It's really good for the tummy and good for the digestion.
I've got colonic number two on Thursday along with an eyebrow wax and a facial - what a day. I'm thinking that I'll probably end up back at work burning CDs on Saturday... I'd like to avoid that but I may not be able to.
Good news - the 11 day weather report looks positive for the latter half of next week. Not to mention the day of is looking like low 80s and no rain!!!
