a wonderful weekend

This weekend was amazing, I went down to NYC, stayed with some friends. Friday night I got in late, it was hot, and it felt good to be in the city. Saturday after some morning soccer, I met one of my bridsmaids in the city, had a great omelette (turkey, broccoli and spicy pepper jack) then went to Macy's and got a makeover at the mac counter.
I'm not much of a girly girl, I rarely wear makeup, but they were so great, suggesting colors I'd never try. That's why you go to the pros. I then got a killer haircut, my long long hair has tons of body and layers now.
My friends took me out to dinner where I got some delicious scallop ceviche with avocados (great dinner, didn't feel too full). I drank tons of alcohol but made it through the night with bells on. They took me to a burlesque show, and while my fiance was off at his bachelor party in montreal this weekend, I got a little show of my own!!!!
I had an awesome time, drove back yesterday and jumped in the lake immediately. My fiance got back from his weekend and smothered me with love - he was so loving and happy to see me last night, as I was to see him. I'm happy to be getting married - really happy and the excitement is starting to build and build. There's one more party before the big day - 4th of july weekend is my bachelorette weekend at my house.
I'm planning a very good week of eating - I'm off to get supplies now. The plan is four small meals a day -
9-10 am
yogurt
12-1 pm
salad
4 pm
raw nuts
5:30 pm
run 4 miles
8 pm
juice dinner
that's my plan for the week. I'm not going to try to push the runs hard, I'm just going to try to get through them, stay happy, stay focused, enjoy the feelings that are building in me. My goal this week is 5 days of running with dinner of juice each day. It's important to me to make this 2 week period till the beginning of July a very successful exercise and diet period, as it's my last big chunk of time before the wedding.
After the bach. party there's one last final push, with a juice fast to get rid of the bachelorette party toxins, complete with 3 colonics to assist in the cleansing. I'm hoping to fast for 11 days, with 2 days of raw before and 1-2 days raw afterwards. Then it's time to walk the plank... i mean aisle
I'm getting a little blissed out with all the great energy that's been sent my way from friends and family. I'm going to try to treat work "like my day job" no stress, perfectly pleasant, in the back of my mind knowing i'm a bride to be and nothing can hurt me!
