the Roots of War
remove the beam from your eye

war is always about property or religion.
if we want to 'change' the world, we must be willing to change ourselves first and set an example;
abandon religion and ignore the stupidity of borders and flags. they are the great separators of humanity and only re-inforce our mistaken perceptions of being separate from one another.
all there is, is love, everything else is just a reaching out for it!
i am totally amused by the insanity between so-called 'christians' and 'muslims.' if you look closely, you will see more similarities in these cultures than differences.
for instance; one of the 'rites of passage' for a young muslim boy is the receiving a gun -when he is considered by his parents to be a 'man.'-
guns are seen as a right and a privledge to own in the middle east.
they are also taught (muslims) that their religion is the 'best' one, their country is the 'best' and all others are 'less' than them.
sounds darn american to me, and it sure brings home the concept of our souls intending to work out issues that have separated us for many centuries.
the separations we see in humanity are the same, internal separations we have within ourselves. it is not a co-incidence. we manifest our own being in the world! we see either though rose-colored glasses, or through dung-tinted shades.
Take off those glasses! they are not of your making at all!
as i have said, if we continue to hold the visions of our fathers, we will not develop our own vision and will continue to stumble blindly, seeking for a truth that does not exist. this can only lead to disaster.
when enough have seen this, the collective consciousness will no longer see war as an option.
it's what's in US that makes war. the visions of our fathers may have been the best they could do with what they had at the time.
if we can't learn from the mistakes of the past, we are bound to repeat them!
if we can't do better we will continue the madness and have no experience of evolution. instead, we will have 'de-volution'- backwards movement to a more primitive state. just as we see now on this planet.
*LOVE*
