'Follow Your Bliss'
Date: 5/21/2006 9:27:50 AM ( 18 y ) ... viewed 1623 times This event occurred yesterday afternoon. My wife/soulmate was out to shop. Because of my condition, I have been unable to work for the past year, so we are not exactly 'wealthy'- in the 'financial' sense- but we have survived quite well for ourselves by staying in Spirit and 'Gratitude for the Blessings received, and the Blessings about to be received from the Abundance of the All'. I'll let my soulmate tell her tale, but this is -and has been- typical and normal for us in this year of challenge.
Joie, my soulmate has been my caregiver, so she hasn't 'worked' either. Somehow, (you know how!) we have had our needs met in what many would call, 'miraculous ways....'
The Gifts of Gratitude

""I'm not going to hold back buying food we need," I said to Wayne as I was heading out the door. "I'm just going to trust that more money will come."
As I stepped outside, a refreshing wind greeted me. "Hello beautiful flowers. Hello sky." My heart was vibrating with joy. "Oh thank you, thank you, thank you," I said expanding my arms.
As I walked, I noticed something shiny on the ground. A dime. I used to pick up pennies but of late, dimes have been coming my way. "Thank you." I smiled again.
I took another step and in the wind came another gift. This time it was a ten dollar bill. "OH WOW!" My joy expanded as I once again gave thanks. Another step and another ten dollar bill floated and landed at my feet. By this time I'm doing the 'I love the universe dance' - THANK YOU!!! Another step, but this time the wind brought a twenty dollar bill to my feet.
When I walked into the grocery store and headed for the bargin bin, it was loaded with veggies. They're hard to come by as many others take them before I get there but not today - snow peas, mushrooms, and broccoli were waiting for me and all at an extremely reduced price.
Man, I love the universe. Give thanks, expand your heart with joy, and all of a sudden, you're blessed beyond what you could have ever imagined.
Today I received $40.10. Gratitude and Joy is so much better than worry or fear. Don't you think?

(...Of course, we know 'it's not about the money', but as I have said; this event is an example of how we have survived and thrived in the past year. Our funds are really near the end, but we have decided to stay in the light and not allow ourselves to be drawn into the fear-based social system for assistance, even though we would be eligble, by Canadian standards. It's not a path we can walk with Joy, so we are staying as we are, in the Light, trusting, Loving and setting an example for others that they may find this light within themselves. Spirit has 'told' us that it is our Way.-LL)
