I too am having trouble with leg cramps... and got a sample of Hyland's. I did notice a wee bit of improvement when I took it... although there were only 4 caplets in the sample so I didn't take it as often as recommended. I'm going to get a bottle and see if taking it more regularly will make a significant difference.
And I'm still not where I can grocery shop or cook... so this one is going to have to wait until I get stronger... but I'm definitely going to give this a go! I never cared for bottled tonic... but this recipe looks great!
Actually... the one on the left looks EVEN BETTER... but I don't think that will help much with leg cramps! *lol* And I don't know about you... but I DEFINITELY can't drink! On Christmas... my roommate fixed me a REALLY light-on-the-rum store bought eggnog and I seemed to do OK. On New Year's Eve he got a bottle of Veuve Cliquot... which is one of my favorite champagnes. He poured me a small glass... and within two small sips... I was a wreck! I don't mean drunk either... it just REALLY had a bad effect on my brain functioning. For me to not be able to finish a small glass of good champagne is pretty major! Since I had done OK with the eggnog and rum... I thought it might have to do with the added fat... so I asked him for another eggnog on New Year's Day. His pour was heavier... and the very same thing happened as with the champagne! No more hooch for me... at least until I get WAY better... and even then I might have to stay away from it.
Anyhoo... let me know if you try the Hyland's or the homemade tonic... and how they work.
And I'm glad to hear that your ticker is still ticking! I must say... you are the ONLY person who I have ever heard musically describe what might have been a heart attack! *lol* PLEASE... stick to your drum!!!
