Date: 10/15/2005 3:33:22 PM ( 19 y ) ... viewed 2939 times Just to let everyone know, I'm starting this blog on day three of my juice fast/cleanse, whathaveyou. I will try to be as accurate as possible in what I remember.
DAY ONE:
MORNING WEIGHT: 149 lbs
The first day was not even close to as bad as I thought it would be. I drank Santa Cruz Organice Apple Juice and so much water that I actually felt almost full from time to time. I also had a lot of energy. One reason I think this could be is that I have very little sugar in my regular diet, except for the occasional ice-blended from Coffee Bean, so my diet is mostly sugar free. So maybe the sugar rush was going to my head I'm not sure.
I read online that it is chewing things that cause hunger and by God that is completely true! I realized that by not eating anything solid I was not having even close to the cravings I usually have. Usually I've already eaten two meals by 2PM and my stomach is churning like crazy and the cravings are way up there. This day I did feel a little bit of the churning but it quickly disapated when I drank a couple swigs of juice.
I decided not to tell anyone about the fast just yet and to go to bed early so I would not be tempted. I took the rest of my cleansing pills for the day, a tylenol PM (i know I know what am I doing when this is supposed to be a cleanse) and by 11 I was fast asleep.
