Bittersweet
Yin & Yang, Bitter & Sweet, it all becomes a dance of balance

They sing a song describing the quality (taste) of "bittersweet" as bitter-sweetness relates to a relationship. It's a simple song, really. There's repeating chorus: "It's bittersweet, more sweet than bitter, bitter and it's sweet." Hmmm...well...which one is it?
So much in my life lately is bittersweet. A great example is my full time job (career ?). We've all got our employment issues, right? There's got to be enough sweetness to keep you there, but oh, the bitterness!! It can really take you by surprise. I will not delve further into this.
Then there's my dreamy alternative health business. A lot of sweetness here. The bitter fact, though, is that at this time the business does not make enough $$ to support itself. Thank heavens for my full time job!! It truly keeps this business going, at least for now. In the meantime, I'm collaborating with other businesses, as well as making my own efforts to get this business growing. It will happen as it's meant to happen.
The raw food people and the whole idea of working toward the eventual goal of eating 100% raw seems all sweet to me, absolutely all sweet.
I love my family. Mostly sweetness. It's amazing how we can dance around the bitterness in family life without dipping into it, isn't it?
Meditation helps keep my life sweet when angling towards the bitter.
It's all a challenge of keeping the balance. Everything is. Yin and yang, bitter and sweet, they're the same extremes with different names.
Our precious earth is not treated with the respect she deserves, and that's really the biggest issue we need to focus on at this time. Liora Leah writes awesome blogs about earth-related issues here at Curezone, and I highly recommend her blog.
Life on earth can be bitter, but we can also enjoy the sweetness.
And so life goes on.
