So Much is Happening!
Planning an exciting Open House, love the Ohm Tuning Fork, going to another Raw Foods Potluck tonight, and lots more...

Amazingly, I was on vacation from work for most of that time, and my intention during the vacation was primarily to DO NOTHING. Well, I did want to get some projects done around the house, in the yard, & in my garden. Or, rather, in what WAS my garden. Didn't get any of the house and yard stuff done. Completed a few more Reiki II classes, and my attunement is a few weeks hence. I've got a lot of practicing, mostly self-Reiki, to do between now and then. I've done some practicing on stuffed animals. When I'm ready, and if anyone's interested, perhaps I'll be giving Reiki to people. This place where I live is loaded with Reiki practitioners. They're basically a dime a dozen. I am not really taking the classes to become a practitioner. Rather, this training is something I decided to consciously integrate into my life, for whatever purpose, and that is yet to be revealed.
I've been working collaboratively with some Acupuncturists who have offices in my complex to plan an Open House Celebration which will happen near the end of July. Should be a high-energy event. The VIBE Machine inventor will be speaking, and one of the inventors of the Perkl-Light will make a cameo appearance right near the end of the Open House. Both Acupuncturists will be speaking briefly about Acupuncture as an effective treatment for Detox, Stress, Pain, and Illness. A Perkl-Light associate who is a Wellness Intuitive will be giving an educational presentation and offering Perkl-Light sessions during the event. So much will be going on, and of course there will be music and refreshments too.
I can tell you right now there's mucho planning that goes into such an event. So I'm in the midst of that. It's enjoyable.
My regular job has been a slight bit more pleasant lately. The vacation ended, as vacations do, and there were actually some pleasant surprises when I returned to work. There was also some unpleasant news. Management had been working for sometime on a new organizational template for our division. This was presented to us in a group meeting a few weeks ago, the day my vacation was to begin, actually. What this new template meant for those of us working on the "front lines" was schedule changes, and for some, work day changes, and for some, work site changes. The unpleasant news for our sub-team was that one of our most visionary, creative, and innovative workers who really deeply cares about each and every client will be transferred away from our team as of the lst of next month. There's nothing any of us can do about it. It seems like the job this worker is being transferred to will not especially utilize her wonderful creative energy. It doesn't really make rational sense to anyone on the team. We just have to accept it whether we like it or not. Such changes significantly impact customer service in a negative way. I wish management understood that. I really do.
But, you see, I started this business in order to have a refuge of sorts from my "regular job." And it has been a magnificent oasis. Magnificent.
One of my clients here studied Acutonics (similar to Acupressure, using Tuning Forks) and I got a chance to try a brief Acutonics sampler session last week. Acutonics is not easy to describe in words. I would suggest trying it if you haven't yet. Here's a link to a Florida website with information about Acutonics.

I have one tuning fork here at my studio/office, tuned to the vibration of ohm, and I use it daily to balance myself. It is simple, it was inexpensive, and much of the time lately it is the only energy work I do during the week. Sure, I do other stuff once a week or so, and still go in for Acupuncture treatments, but this tuning fork can be used on all acupuncture points I can reach by myself and is very effective. Here's where you can find out more about the Ohm Tuning Fork:

For those people who need a method of energy balancing that they can do for themselves as frequently or infrequently as they choose, the ohm tuning fork is ideal.
Another bit of news is that tonight I'm going with a friend to my 2nd Raw Foods Potluck (Rawluck) and then to a concert. I love music and haven't been to a concert in ages. Every now and then it's a good idea to open up one's life and insert FUN.
Life is to be celebrated, every moment of it.
Love and Light to all...
