The VIBE Machine
At the beginning of this blog, I had intended to take you on a journey through my adventures with the VIBE Machine in the past 7 months. So much has happened.
We had gotten through my first sessions in front of the VIBE Machine in Greeley, Colorado, at the inventor's shop. Then, of course, in late October, I purchased a used VIBE Machine and began observing the volunteers who were kindly taking care of operating the machine for those who were coming in for sessions.
I was primarily an observer for those first few weeks, covering the end of October and moving directly into November. A few of the volunteers appeared resistive to my presence during their volunteer times. I found this curious, as I had bought the machine free and clear and certainly had the right to be present during its day to day operations. Although I made every effort to remain quiet and be mainly an observer during those initial weeks, I did feel a need to defend my right to be present during operational hours.
This was uncomfortable, and one of the volunteers quit with no explanation. Actually, I discovered, that although the woman I purchased the machine from referred to these women as volunteers, it was a misnomer. They were actually trading for services. They volunteered for 2-4 hours a week in exchange for free VIBE sessions. The VIBE Machine room, which was in a small group of professional offices, was only open for 2 hours a day, 6 days a week. A total of 12 hours.
After my few weeks of observation, I decided to expand the hours to 20 hours a week, and did that immediately.
This whole thing turned out to be a very rocky road, and it was an uphill struggle dealing with how this had been run as a business prior to my ownership. I like to do things in an above-board and ethical way, and it took a very long time to get this operation straightened out so that it could progress along a path of integrity.
One aspect of this that gave me lots of hope is the glowingly positive statements of the people who were using the machine regularly. They told me of the health benefits they had experienced as a result of sessions in front of the machine.
This part was and still is gratifying for me. Wanting to be of service to people in a way that would be beneficial to their health was my reason for acquiring this machine.
I quickly realized that a larger and more private home was needed for the VIBE machine. I set about finding that new home, and in mid-December 2004, with much help from some of the loyal trade-for-service folks, we began our gradual move to a delightful, bohemian sort of studio/loft office.
On December 30, the move to our new location was complete. And this is where I will end my tale for now. Remember, to find out more about the VIBE Machine (informational only!) you can visit the inventor's website. http://www.vibemachine.com
I am not here to promote my VIBE Machine, only to speak to you of my adventures with the VIBE Machine and other subtle energy therapies I've experienced during this new journey along my health-improvement path.
Thank you for your time.
