I am positive this is poison in it's finest form -dairy, alcohol, sugar-and I will be sipping it in Santa Cruz -on the cold beach front porch thinking of the beauty and strange turns in life! I've fallen in love 2 times in 6 months after a hiatus of 9-10 years-huh! One was totally beautiful and full of heat, and the other gentle, playful, and full of patience...I give Thanksgiving for my wonderful life.

6 eggs, separated
3/4 cup sugar
2 cup whole milk
3 cups heavy cream
1 1/2 cups bourbon
1/4 cup dark rum
1 cup cognac
pinch nutmeg
In a large bowl, beat egg yolks until thick and pale yellow. Add sugar to yolks. With a wire whisk, beat in milk and 2 cups cream, bourbon, rum, and cognac, stirring constantly.
Just before serving, beat egg whites until stiff. Fold in mixture from step No. 1. Beat remaining cream until stiff and fold in. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
