Last week, my good friend Barbara Boxer announced she is running again for Senate in 2010, and I couldn't be happier.

From day one, Barbara understood that President Bush's war on Iraq would not make our nation safer -- that it would undermine our position of leadership in the world. More than four years ago, we were proud to stand together to vote against the resolution authorizing President Bush to carry out this disastrous war.
Today, there are many voices against the war, but few speak as forcefully and passionately as Barbara Boxer.
And, I am always proud when she stands up for the truth. For example, just this weekend, on CNN, one of our Republican colleagues suggested that Democrats think our brave troops are "losers." That's right -- the same tired old attack that anyone who questions the president must not support the troops.
