"Like a child quieted
is my Soul."
Psalms 131
The moon is full.
Drama is falling out of the world.
"Her" has risen.
She surrounds me everywhere I turn.
The same messages
pour through every mouth.
The same messages repeats itself.
Confirming,
urging me to go outside in the silent air
and remember vows.
In Her room she prays.
She no longer wishes to be absorbed
in Her High drama, let alone the drama
of any men in her life. She writes.
She composes.
She would rather be alone
with the four walls,
absorbed in her creativity.
She doesn't care if the phone rings at all.
I'm glad i called Her.
It dawns on me I am bonded to Her.
She is so close. She confirmed
what my words have written the night before
in dreams. My drama bores her.
She laught,
and then apologizes for laughing;
but has to tell me she "isn't into drama."
She confirms what i know
what the universe conspires to tell me
through a bounty of voices.
I am called upon to live in my own life
what the pages of Psalms say,
what my own Soul through my own hand
lifetimes ago.
Into the wind, into the silence
into the acceptance I further go.
I resist you with my last fleeting breaths,
realizing my days of resistance are numbered.
I can hardly resist you any long, on my Soul.
The moon is full.
I step into it.
Take me.
